The Limmattalstrassenbahn (LSB) was created to connect Dietikon, Schlieren and Weinigen with the city tram network.
The first tram run in December 1900. After some difficulties, the last tram between Schlieren and Farbhof (Zürich) run in 1956.
No one believed that there would be anytime a tram again. But now is the time that the new line will open this weekend and connect Schlieren again by tram with Zurich.
I met the Ce 2/2 2 from the LSB at the station Micafil.

Resting on years of experience and victories of the veteran Intentor AG-Racing Team, the Speeder Team begins its first season as a tough contender, bringing the best pilots in every category and freshly designed speeders with the best current technology can offer.

It's baaaack! (NO APRIL FOOLIN'). We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting for a return of the speeder bike contest. Well, here it is, so get to building!
Please note that we are going "Back to Basics" which means:
- Minifig scale only, with a rider shown on the speeder bike,
- Built out of physical bricks, and
- Judging will be largely based on the bike itself (with presentation style used for breaking the ties between close competitors).
- Only one entry per category, per person. Post only one photo into the appropriate category entry discussion here on flickr (you can replace/edit your entries up until the deadline).

LSB Tm 232 137 drückt die beladen Zuckerrübencontainer nach Gleis 2 und soll nach abhaken wieder zurückfahren nach Gleis 1.
Die Lok Service Burkhardt Tm 232 137 rangiert fleisig in Boncourt beim Rübenverlad. Im Hintergrund ist gerade noch ein weise Valtra zu sehen die geraden ihre Anhänger entleert in die Ropa Bahnratte die die Rüben im zweiten wagen hinter die Lok fallen last.

LSB 2025-3
A small 1-day build as part of a series of bikes to commemorate my favourite discontinued contest, LSB.
This one was entirely led by parts, no exterior reference. The main thing that got this going was the cleaver-minifig connection, enabling a presentable bike both with and without a rider (as seen in slide 2).
Oh and the chassis is held together with a spade.

Jet Powered Speeder Bike for maximum speed and firepower
I am adding to the descriptions a song/movie I watched/heard in the process of making each bike and inspired it's final forms

This was the first speeder I built for the contest. I went for a "jet plane" appearance, with the missiles, wing mounted guns and large air intake. Missile shooting effect was based on Project Azazel's recently uploaded M270.
Built originally for racing, this four engine speeder is the prefered method of transportation of criminals in District 18. It's (relatively) cheap, light, fast and very resistant, making it the perfect vehicle for heists.

Here is my entry for the Bounty Hunter Category of this year's LSB Speeder Tournament (Tropical).
Meet Caito... the Hurrican Hunter.
Fast as lighting, furious as a storm, vicious as a tornado, and determined as a tempest.
Starnegley enough, he finds his peace in the eye of the Hurricane, which for him is bringing those who have for far too long remained unscathed by justice. He finds tranquility in every bounty he catches and harmony in every hunt he completes.
His famous Hurricane Hunter Cycle is custom-built to his intended desires. It is equipped with a large turbo booster on the rear side for extra speed (especially in the moment of the chase), two proton side blasters for both offensive and defensive maneuvers. At the front, the speeder is equipped with two ion cannons which create a temporary immobilization pulse that incapacitates the prey of the hunt. The speeder's fuel source is the rare Storm Crystal that can be found located at the back of the speeder.
Above all else, the most important feature of this runner is its "Bounty Capsule" located on the underside of Caito's controls and seat. As seen in the image he is running this year's LSB Tournament between hunts, having just caught the notorious and infamous Black Skull. The capsule straps the bounty to the underside of the speeder, forcing the hunted to always look down. Though they won't feel much of the effects till afterward because the capsule also lowers the temperatures inside it freezing the body and paralyzing it.
He is ready to "blow" like the wind of a Hurricane across the finish line, and I imagine Black Skull might be a little dizzy when Caito hands him over to the New Inter-Tropical Republic Corps.

The Vespax Rally 1K is the perfect commuter bike. Used by a majority of the upwardly mobile residents of District 18, the Rally 1K is fast and nimble enough to usually allow folks to outrun the roving youth gangs, as long as they can be seen or heard coming soon enough to allow a decent head start on an escape. With ample storage in the side-pods, the Rally 1K can be used for any number of transit professionals.

Who would know I'd still be back for more?
Decided I'd choose Batman as my B.H. his always so bad ass when it comes to gear, and this Speeder uses all his high tech, the bikes basically controlled via an eye scope which scans from the front of the nose which houses a 180 full radar heat print. he basically stands inside and like a bat looks from above. The design clues came from the Tumbler with that hard armour look and I gave it some carbon treatment to push then theme of the design. I was inspired to create a hard edged sharp short wheel based speedo. I also wanted to ensure it carried the wings which Ive managed tot pull off and integrate into the build. This has been an awesome ride so to speak. Coming back has been super cool. I wish everybody the best of luck!

A violent district where commons folks try to make a living among criminals and cops chasing each other.
So this is my entry to the 2019 LSB-contest. Had a lot of fun creating this scene, went for sort of a "cyberpunk-meets-new-car-show- feel", haha!
Hope you guys like it, big shoutout to the organizers of this thing, definately one of the most fun contest in the cummunity! Also big thanks to o0ger for the feedback during this build, make sure ypu check out his speeder if you haven't already done that. Peace!

Rheinhessen Industry: Blade Mark III
The Blade Mark III may not seem so massive at first sight as a conventional Speeder for the Overkill Oval. But this speeder is made for the fast fight contest. Equipped with a powerful shield generator, an ECM system of the latest generation, two short-range rockets and two tachyon guns.Is this speeder a big challenge for any type of opponents.The Antigravitations generator is also used for the propulsion. This results in a pollutant-free drive without exhaust gases.The agility of the Blade Mark III allows only outstanding pilots to control this Speeder.
