I posted a similar image to this one a few years ago it is of myself taken with the WA800 Loading Shovel i was operating at the time back in 2009.
The image was taken by one of the Load and Haul Dumper Drivers (Dave Marsh) that ran from me to the Primary Crushing Plant at Dove Holes.Incidentally i am not a midget,At that time i was around 6ft tall.
Father Fleury photographed in the kitchen of St Hilda's Church, Cross Green, Leeds, LS9, as part of my continuing study of this area. It was a great pleasure to meet and photograph Fr Fleury. I know his church does great work in the area.
(Technical: I took this photo on HP5 in a 1974 Nikon F, using a Gossen Digisix lightmeter. The lens was a pre-AI Nikkor 20/3.5. What an absolutely wonderful lens it is.)
The huge 6.2L Supercharged engine of the great American monster the Crovette ZR1 ... enjoyed that photo shoot and it was a great day ... and not to forget that AutoPro made it look this good :p

This is Don, who runs the merchandise stall at Leeds Irish Centre, and who features in my forthcoming exhibition of photographs taken in the Cross Green/East End Park/Richmond Hill area of Leeds, LS9.

In September 2024, I'm doing an exhibition of photographs taken in the Cross Green/Richmond Hill/East End Park area of Leeds, LS9.
My association with this part of Leeds goes back over thirty years, and I've a great affection for the place, so decided to photograph it as it is now.
The exhibition will take place at St Hilda's Church, Cross Green Lane, LEEDS, LS9 0DG at the following times:
Fri 6, Sat 7, Wed 11, Fri 13, Sat 14 Sept: 10:00 - 16:00
Sun 8, Sun 15 Sept: 12:00 - 16:00.

I'm currently engaged in taking a series of photographs of the Richmond Hill/Cross Green/East End Park area of Leeds (part of LS9) with the aim of at least one exhibition, the first being at St Hilda's Church in Cross Green, LS9 0DG sometime in September 2024.
I'll post one or two photos here from this series. This one is Bob, who is 94, and is a resident of the area.
I hope this will be my most important series of photographs, and I'm certainly having a brilliant time taking them. As well as the exhibition at St Hilda's, I'd like to do one somewhere else in Leeds, hopefully in the city centre somewhere.
