I hot-rodded two of my guitars recently. All of my guitars have an LR Baggs iBeam or some other soundboard pick-up in them. I drilled a second hole into the endblock, so that I could add a second jack into the guitars.
The pick-up that I added is an LR Baggs M1 passive magnetic pick-up. I run the two pick-ups through separate DI boxes (Baggs PADI).
In testing the system out, I ran the magnetic pick-up through some reverb and delay effects. I ran the contact pick-up dry. The sound was HUGE!
