A view looking up the Lake Louise outlet channel at the lake and the moody skies above on a chilly October day. With beauty like this a person barely notices the cold.
Besides the lake's beauty the Lake Louise area is beloved for its excellent downhill skiing. With 11 square miles of terrain on four mountain faces, Lake Louise is Canada's second largest ski area and one of the largest ski resorts in North America. It also has one of the longest consistent ski seasons in Canada from early November to late May.

Yesterday, I visited the annual Manitoba Orchid Show which had been cancelled throughout the pandemic so it was a pretty exciting event. There were several different types of orchids to view and this was one of them.

I took all these shots so I have to use them..;) I enjoyed myself while on this mini vacation that I decided it would be great to have another house on the coast. Well, the realtor gave me a heads up. She said," You can't be just looking. You have to get pre-qualified and ready to write the check." I'm afraid I'm going to have to put living at the coast on the back burner. I just not able to invest the amount of time it would take to find the right place.
On the bright side, I get my 2nd shot this week. Has anyone else had there 2nd shot. Just wondering if it's any different then the first one.

Beautiful pink and white flowers. Indigofera is a large genus of over 750 species of flowering plants belonging to the pea family Fabaceae. Myrtus, with the common name myrtle, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Myrtaceae, described by Swedish botanist Linnaeus in 1753. Over 600 names have been proposed in the genus, but nearly all have either been moved to other genera or been regarded as synonyms. Justicia carnea, with common names including Brazilian plume flower, Brazilian-plume, flamingo flower, and jacobinia — is a flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae.
