I found a Photo Album in the Sonoran Desert yesterday with 21 photos in it. It was near Desert Hot Springs south of Pierson Blvd between Oasis Dr & Karon Ave. I'm trying to locate the owners. If you recognise anyone in these photos please let me know. I'd love to reunite them with their family. If there's any information on any of the photos I've provided that.

18. Get creative and have fun with a magnifying glass. Use a magnifying glass to distort a single feature and use the rest of the frame to add context to what you have distorted. – Cathy - TH4/15/18
I don't like the land road maps they are smaller then a sea chart and I find them hard to read. Never fear, I can always use the magnifying glass - or maybe get a Co-pilot program for my IPad
What I am looking at - Cadney Park Homestead Roadhouse (one of my chosen stops)
If you plan to overnight somewhere between Port Augusta and Alice Springs then this is the place. Food is good but basic roadhouse fare. Caters for caravans and campers, as well having in hose accommodation. The rooms are neat and clean; they meet all requirements for a good overnight stay. Cadney Park Homestead Roadhouse is also the jump off point to the fabulous Painted Desert. Created over 80 million years, the Painted Desert in South Australia, distinct from Painted Desert in Arizona, is just as spectacular with its multi-hued terrain. www.thepainteddesert.com.au

I'm using so many tiny Betsy McCall's patterns lately, I thought the best thing to do is to get one for reference. It would me so much easier to know what fits and what not. To have her as a size comparison is much easier than only looking at patterns.
I just realized I got the name wrong in the photo, meh.

Shades of Autumn showing
Talking about sandy coloured Lunar Underwing's in my last post, I trapped one on Monday night amongst a modest haul of moths and some new for year species.
Of all of the species from the night I was most pleased with a Treble-bar that I haven't recorded since 2013, in fact it's only the fourth garden record with 2 in 2012 and 1 in 2013, a supposedly common moth but one I rarely record in my garden.
The abdomen was checked for Lesser Treble-bar (Which would be new to the garden if it was so!).
A nice splash of Autumnal colours was provided by 4 'Sallow' moths, 3 Barred and 1 normal Sallow, such beauties.
Micro moths are still pretty scarce but a rather tatty Acleris sparsana was new for the year and it was nice to see my 5th Ypsolopha sequella which is having a good year here.
The weather looks set to warm up a shade with night time temperatures not set to drop into single figures for a while.
Also whilst looking around the garden for any moths I missed I stumbled upon a fully grown Vapourer Moth caterpillar, probably lookingfor somewhere to pupate.
