Full Moon December 2019 known as Full Cold Moon. Also The Last Full Moon Of The Decade.

We have come the full swing now, dark to light. The long nights are now history and the days grow longer daily. But during the dark nights of December the little Christmas lights radiated light in the dark.

Here in northeast Oklahoma, the temperatures have dipped and the cold arctic air is upon us. We have come through the winter solstice, the sun has made its furthermost arc in the sky to the south and the longest night, the days begin to be longer, the world has rejoiced at the birth of the sun and now we head for yet the longest day of the year in six months and the cycle continues.

First Street, Sai Ying Pun. 2015.

Speed, An addiction that flew in our blood and souls, many of us Love Speed insanely and Most of us regard or in other words ignore the consequences of it. A Small Message I’d love my Picture to carry is: “Think of those who love you, before thinking of the fun that speed carries to you”

One Friday night, Caine Road. 2014.

An eyewear shop, closed for the evening, and a hawker came occupying its shopfront... Another long, cold yet beautiful night.

Moving to this neighborhood and having contact with some lovely people almost everyday has helped me 'savour life' just once again. I even started shooting around these night streets like I did before...

Working hard for something we don't care about is pain. Working for something we believe (with or without tomorrow) is a blessing.

Taking one last glance at this early public housing estate before it underwent redevelopment in 2012.

But will its door still open a window to the past...

Pak Sha Road, Causeway Bay. 2026.

A last remaining street market, a store of yesterday... And such a beauty it was. An "unfiltered honesty" is probably the only approach to these street shots I could think of. I can still hear and smell them...

Cross Street, Wanchai

it's another quiet, dark city night; there is light, yet hope isn't quite in sight.

we're together but alone; don't really mind as long as I'm with my phone.

anyway a whole night to kill, so better find a place for peace; maybe a chance to heal, and let the heavy heart release...

Whitfield Road, Tin Hau. 2023.

"i'm alone not lonely..." I keep telling myself.

One of the most beautiful Victorian homes in the historic village of Mendocino, the MacCallum House was built in 1882 as a wedding gift for Daisy Kelley and her husband Alex MacCallum. Here it is all dressed up for the holiday season.

Best wishes to all during this special time, where the longest nights of Winter Solstice give way gently to the longest days of Summer Solstice, as our planet continues along its orbit around the sun.

May goodwill continue to exist and eventually prevail on this planet. It's important to keep hope alive. It seems during the Winter Solstice there is an especial wish to do this. Building on centuries of human aspirations we continue to celebrate a deep abiding relationship to light and warmth, kindness and spiritual values in many different cultural ways.

Time to clean up the haus after another long night. Getting ready for Friday's event.
