Hello Everyone and Happy Friday! It is very late for me and I have an early day tomorrow with my sister to do Christmas shopping, she loves going to the outlet mall that is about twenty miles away (sighs) she claims it is where one finds the very best deals, I always say Amazon! LOL. However, I love my sister and I do love shopping, so tomorrow is going to be an adventure.
This time of year always has stresses and causes people to loose their minds and perspective on what this holiday season is really about. I know I am one that wants everything perfect for everyone else and to have a memorable Christmas and Holidays, I learned that there is no such thing as a perfect holiday and when we start to become stressed and overwhelmed that is when we do our 'Sometimes', Sometimes we just need a break from loved ones, sometimes we need a slice of cheesecake, sometimes we need to drive alone through the country, sometimes we just need to play that one song that relaxes us, sometimes we just need that one cigarette we have once a year just to let go and quiet the brain, helping us remember what this season is all about, being thankful and grateful for every good thing in our life, Family, friends, that special someone, our jobs, our businesses, our home and clothing, our good health and being able to help others and thankful for where we live and all the goodness that is around, even in this crazy upside down world.
So take that break and enjoy some peace and quiet to regain that joyful spirit and to be able to smile and have Good will toward all. :)
