Following all the volcanic ash issues effecting our flights out to America this Monday we've had to rebook for next wednesday.
In the process of changing flights we ended up having to change our hotel in New York. I wasn't very happy about this as we had already worked out our routes to the big touristy attractions. To be honest I was pretty gutted and the hotel Virgin changed us to I had never heard of. I thought it was going to be a sh*t hole to be honest, my god was i wrong.
I had a quick look at the place today on the internet and it turns out it looks like a really funky, young, hipster, arty farty place (which I will no doubt love). The reviews I have read on Trip Advisor suggest it has a really young, trendy crowd who are there from dawn until dusk using the lounge area to get important, arty, geeky stuff done on their Macbooks. The hotel is an old apartment block on Broadway and is only 5 blocks from the Empire state building. I also noticed today we are only 2 blocks away from the Sex Museum. :)
The hotel has a really cool bar and a michelin starred restaurant in it too. I' actually glad we had to change hotels as this one seems to knock the spots of the first one we booked.
I'll add the link below should you wish to have a nose. If any Flickr peeps have taken a visit to NY recently and happened to stay in The ACE hotel, let me know if it was a nice as it looks when you stayed there.
Today has been a rather uneventful day. I'm now going to spend tonight relaxing and getting some of my packing re done for next week. Youley went out last night with the lads so it'll be nice to have a bit of snuggle time on the sofa with him too.

While driving along HWY 121 between Anna TX and Bonham TX. I came across a this old C/10 Delux Truck.
For this image, I added a photoshop lomography effect.

- Out of curiosity, I took this shot specifically for the yellow colour in XPRO. I thought there will be a shift in colour. Turned out, it's still yellow.

this photo is taken in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This city is fame due to 70% of its population are students. It also known as bicycle's city,but as time goes on and the wide usage of cars and motorbikes,bicycles are not a popular choice anymore.

I am really liking the lomography look. I haven't had the chance to do some real lomography with a lomo camera so I have been playing some images and trying to recreate that look in photoshop.
