President of the local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Zack Shubkagel, introduced designer Sol Sender, whose company led the logo development for Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

Sol Sender described his experiences developing the Barack Obama campaign logo and "political brand" on February 2, 2010, at the Plaza Branch. The Obama "brand" has received much recognition not only within the design community, but throughout the nation and abroad. "Reinforced with a coherent, comprehensive program of fonts, logos, slogans, and web design, Obama is the first presidential candidate to be marketed like a high-end consumer brand,” Newsweek wrote.
This event was co-sponsored by the American Institute of Architects Kansas City and was part of the first annual Kansas City Design Week.
Just a having some fun with this logo, not for any clients, just for me.
Been using #kaboom quite a bit on Twitter, all for shits and giggles and wanted to create a little logo for it.
So the logomark is styled from a 'b', with a boxed hole rather than circular and a nice little fuse carrying on the b's extender.
And the obligatory 'just say kaboom' as the tag line.
Just a bit of fun.

This time I have integrated the 'IM' within the main brand name, but still kept the styling different. The idea is that the IM will be used for branding purposes on avatars, falcons, profile images, much like my existing one.
I have also now update my tag line 'the evolution of ideas' and set this underneath using super open kerning.
The focus is meant to be on the 'IM' with the 'justcreative' following.
