HMM... the macro monday theme for today, 11/4, is brands and logos. a little explanation you say?? about 30 years ago i bought one of those big videocameras and started a sideline- taping special events. my BFF suggested the name since my last name is lane. (hey, 30 years ago it was pretty darn clever and not at all hackneyed.) ... so i came up with this design using a teddy bear graphic i stumbled upon and adding the clapboard. had business cards made up and even found a company that made your business card into a watch face. both of those things will be in the first comment box shortly.
btb1, the bear is about 3/4ths of an inch (1.9cm)
btb2, i seem to have had the tungsten setting on ~grin~

This is the new BNSF "speed lettering" logo on the side of a covered hopper. The logo is ok, but I'm really not fond of it. It looks fine on the side of a GE Dash-9, but it looks dumb on the nose of any unit.

Macro Monday theme of the week is “Brand and Logos”. A-B Octagon logo key FOB is 1.25 inches. A-B stands for Allen-Bradley and is the brand-name of a line of factory automation equipment, today owned by Rockwell Automation.
The Allen-Bradley Clock Tower with octagon clock face is a Milwaukee landmark featuring the largest four-sided clock in the western hemisphere. Photo of it is in my Flicker showcase.

1903 – Dr. Stanton Allen and Lynde Bradley form the Compression Rheostat Company

I made you a cake but then I had to cut a slice for the photo and then it's not like I could put it back on the cake so I ate it. It was really good! So good that I had another little slice... I've been using the Lehigh Valley Zoo logo as a background during Zoom meetings. When I went to Elmwood Park Zoo, last weekend, I carried my lensball with the intention of switching the background to one of their logo.
This is my selection from the photos I took of the jaguar logo. I'll make the switch during my next Zoom meeting.
