Jeff and Josh have just received a request to leave one of the four engines in their consist at Edon to work the grain facility the next day. Here they briefly discuss the logistic of doing that.

TX Logistics betreibt mehrere KV Verbindungen die Deutschland komplett durchqueren. Eine davon ist der beinahe täglich fahrende KV von Verona zum Lübecker Skandinavienkai. Passend zur durchgeführten Strecke, wirbt an der Spitze 193 640 für Schienenverbindungen von Italien nach Deutschland.
L'opérateur privé TX Logistics assure plusieurs relations de combiné depuis l'Italie du Nord vers tous les coins de l'Allemagne. L'une des plus longues relie Verona et la ville portuaire de Lübeck sur la côte de la mer baltique. En tête, la 193 640 revête une livrée publicitaire pour les connections par rail entre l'Italie et l'Allemagne.

In fall 1999 at Calimus, Oregon, a trainload of Northwest forest products heads for California. That peak in the distance is Mount Scott, the highest point in Crater Lake National Park. Since Chemult, the train has been crossing the Antelope Desert, a broad flatland west of Klamath Marsh. The descent down Calimus Hill to Chiloquin will drop the train into the Klamath Basin.
It has now been three years since Union Pacific acquired Southern Pacific. Aside from the deactivation of the Modoc Line as a through route, and operation of significantly more General Electric locomotives (with the resulting effects on a tunnel in the Cascades), changes on SP's old Oregon Division have been relatively minor. Am 2.September stand ich dann am Nachmittag auf der Stadtmauer in Oberwesel.
Ich beobachtete den Betrieb auf der linken Rheinstrecke (KBS 471) und es waren einige interessante Züge gen Norden im Zulauf:
Der erste für mich fotogene Güterzug war der fast vier Stunden verspätete KT 50188, den in Deutschland RBH Logistics bestellt, von München-Nord Rbf. nach Köln Eifeltor Ubf. und, im schönsten Licht, mit der DB Cargo 193 307 bespannt wurde.
Der Zug kommt aus Verona Quadrante Europa mit einer anderen Zugnummer bis München-Nord Rbf.
Die Sehenswürdigkeiten von links nach rechts:
Über dem Zug die Burg Gutenfels und in der Bildmitte der große Haagsturm bzw. Roter Turm und rechts davon die Liebfrauenkirche und oberhalb die Burg Schönburg, heute ein Hotel.

La 1327 se faufile dans la vallée de la Sambre avec sa rame complète de wagons "débach'vite" qu'elle emmène de Monceau à Tergnier.

Am 3.Mai 2023 stand ich dann auf dem Steingassenturm in Oberwesel und beobachtete den Betrieb auf beiden Rheinseiten:
Schließlich kam natürlich wieder auf der rechten Rheinseite (KBS 466) das nächste Highlight ohne das ich es wußte:
Die Akiem 186 383 (Werbelok European Together Logistics) war unterwegs für Ihren Mieter HSL als DGS 47783 von Ludwigshafen BASF nach Rotterdam Pernis in den Niederlanden mit einem Ganzzug von BASF Tankcontainer auf WASCO Containertragwagen vom Typ Sgmmns.
Gebaut wurde die Waggons vom slowakischen Güterwagenhersteller Tatravagónka in Poprad.
Die Waggons sind beladen mit vom belgischen Hersteller Van Holl gebauten 45’ Tankcontainer der BASF.
Ich fotografierte den Zug nördlich Kaub an der rechten Rheinstrecke (KBS 466) kurz vor der Einfahrt in den neuen Rosssteintunnel.
