Nu ik toch in Hennuyères ben, kan ik direct wat verder doen met het tonen van wat schatten op zolder :-)
Eerlijk gezegd, wist ik zelfs niet eens dat ik een foto had van deze stoere 2009, want van dinsdag 13 september 2011 zitten er bijna geen foto's in mijn flickr-archief.
Aan de haak van de trein, de bijna dagelijkse intervorming van Antwerpen naar Monceau/Chatelet. Die dag een erg leuke en korte cargo!

CSXT 1541, one of the few GP15-1s rostered by CSX at the time, switches boxcars at Wagner Logistics. I believe all (perhaps one or two remain, I'm not sure) GP15-1s have since been retired from CSX and this warehouse no longer receives boxcars. I think the company probably moved out and a new owner now occupies the warehouse. The track was rebuilt to receive hoppers about a year or two ago, so while it's good to see rail service continue, no more boxcars are received here today. Jacksonville, FL
Even een actuele plaat ter afwisseling. Vandaag kon ik tijdens mijn rondje Waaslandhaven samen met Carlo Hertoghs die ik er toevallig tegen het lijf liep, één van de nieuwe Railpool-lease locs van B-Logistics op foto zetten.
Jullie zien deze recente aanwinst hier aan de overweg aan de Steenlandlaan bij het verlaten van Bundel Zuid.
Volgens de info die ik van Carlo gekregen heb, zouden deze locs geen 28 of 29 nummer krijgen. Persoonlijk hoop ik stiekem wel op een logo.

Whilst a lot of flashing images have been on peoples' telescreens of late, it is clear a lot of people have become armchair generals and sitting room diplomats.
However, physical reality determines what happens in the real world. Some countries ought to be doing certain things for sure but that is a world away from what is happening.
Recent events have shown some countries are stronger or weaker than hitherto imagined. Some alliances or power blocks will no doubt get a rude awakening.
If events are as portrayed, then realignments are inevitable and
access to raw materials will become key. To have such resources, global trade needs to continue as expected, or you need to have your own primary and secondary industries and have not mothballed them or sold them off to a country that no longer likes you.
Also, it is hard to be at war with a country upon whom you are resource-dependent for the next five years (conservative estimate).
PS. Having a look at Orwell's map for 1984 power blocks map is somewhat illuminating.

Adriana, Ana Filipa y Marina, las tres nuevas locomotoras E4000 para la compañía MEDWAY, abandonan el ramal de la factoría de Stadler Valencia en Albuixech en busca de la frontera portuguesa. Se espera que inicien el servicio con mercancías en el país vecino próximamente y, si todo va bien, las podremos ver circular por nuestras vías en un tiempo. Saludos a los presentes y a los maquinistas.
