Am 27. Februar 2021 war ein Hödlmayr-Autotransportzug nach Graz eingelegt. Traktioniert wurde dieser von der für die HSL fahrenden 186 381. Ladegut waren fabrikneue Fahrzeuge des schwedischen Herstellers Volvo. Bei Edlhausen in der Oberpfalz setzte die Sonderleistung einen farbenfrohen Akzent in der vorfrühlingshaft kahlen Landschaft.
On 27 February 2021, a Hödlmayr car transport train was scheduled for Graz. This train was hauled by 186 381, which was driving for HSL. The load consisted of brand-new vehicles from the Swedish manufacturer Volvo. Near Edlhausen in the Upper Palatinate, the train set a colourful accent in the bare, early spring landscape.

CSXT 1541, one of the few GP15-1s rostered by CSX at the time, switches boxcars at Wagner Logistics. I believe all (perhaps one or two remain, I'm not sure) GP15-1s have since been retired from CSX and this warehouse no longer receives boxcars. I think the company probably moved out and a new owner now occupies the warehouse. The track was rebuilt to receive hoppers about a year or two ago, so while it's good to see rail service continue, no more boxcars are received here today. Jacksonville, FL
TX Logistics betreibt mehrere KV Verbindungen die Deutschland komplett durchqueren. Eine davon ist der beinahe täglich fahrende KV von Verona zum Lübecker Skandinavienkai. Passend zur durchgeführten Strecke, wirbt an der Spitze 193 640 für Schienenverbindungen von Italien nach Deutschland.
L'opérateur privé TX Logistics assure plusieurs relations de combiné depuis l'Italie du Nord vers tous les coins de l'Allemagne. L'une des plus longues relie Verona et la ville portuaire de Lübeck sur la côte de la mer baltique. En tête, la 193 640 revête une livrée publicitaire pour les connections par rail entre l'Italie et l'Allemagne.
The SNCB/NMBS/B-Logistics Alstom HLE 13 is one of my favourite locs and this is my first photo of it. With the luck of a beginner, I was gifted with a spotless clean 1333 and from the elevated spot, I could see the red roof and white pantographs - very much like when the loc has left the factory. The freight train has been routed via the famous spot place in Hennuyeres by exception on this Saturday afternoon.

Am Morgen des 11.August 2023 besuchte ich nach sehr langer Zeit mal wieder dieses Motiv:
Kurz vor dem ehemaligen Block Bodental, zwischen Lorch und Aßmannshausen gelegen unterhalb des Campingplatz Suleika, kann man morgens wunderbar Züge gen Süden fotografieren auf der KBS 466 fotografieren.
Dort mündet aus einer tiefen Seitenschlucht auch der Bodentaler Bach in den Rhein.
Achtung: Die Zufahrtstraße schreibt sich mit "th" und heißt "im Bodenthal" !
Leider wird dies Motiv oft als Bächergrund getaggt was verkehrt ist!
Das Motiv lässt sich nicht mehr so schön umsetzten wie früher; der Abschnitt links ist komplett zugewachsen und die Weinberge sind neu angelegt worden.

Der Geh- und Radweg entlang der B42 wurde fertig gestellt und führt von bislang kurz vor Rüdesheim nach Lorch und hatte Gesamtkosten von etwa 137,5 Millionen Euro gekostet, einschließlich der Erneuerung und Verbreiterung der B42. Umgerechnet auf die 11,3 Kilometer Länge sind das 12.168 Euro Kosten pro Meter.
Während der Bauarbeiten war es dort überhaupt nicht fotogen dort Eisenbahn zu fotografieren.
Schließlich kam der erste richtig fotogene Zug:
Die 185 170 von DB Cargo war Zuglok vom pünktlichen Planzug KT 60695 von RBH Logistics aus Neuss Gbf nach München Riem Ubf. Die Lok gefiel mir schon mal super da sie anscheinend bei ihrer IS 600 im Werk Saarbrücken am 6.März 2023 auch eine Lackauffrischung mit Ceramol gegönnt wurde oder gar einen neuen Lack?
Was richtig klasse war ist die Tatsache das der Zug wirklich mal gut beladen unterwegs war, sondern auch mit vielen rosa Containern von Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (abgekürzt: ONE) . Für mich ein wirklich geiler Zug!
Auf der anderen Rheinseite zu sehen ist links der Steinbruch und die Verladeanlage vom Quarzit Tagebau Sooneck die heute zur Unternehmensgruppe de Beijer Groep BV gehören.

Das Unternehmen verlädt seine Produkte auf Lkw aber auch wie bei mir auch Frachtschiffe mit einem Förderband über die B9 und die linke Rheinstrecke (KBS 471).
Rechts davon zu sehen ist die Burg Sooneck und weiter rechts die Gemeinde Niederheimbach.

Die für CTL Logistics fahrende 185 555 war am Abend des 8. Mai 2016 mit ihrem Kesselzug bei Haaste unterwegs nach Westen.

Going to shows involves transport, which many cats don't enjoy much. The Sandy Carrier Bag offers a good solution, as it opens on top, so I can have the cat on my lap during the ride. They can look out while at the same time being securely strapped in a harness.

A brand new spot for lineside photography at the time of taking this image. With the sun moving round to this side of the line, here we see ÖBB locomotive 1116 191 working the 10:16 service from Munich to Villach (EC115) on the afternoon of the 26/1/26. The train was captured arriving into Mallnitz-Obervallech in perfect winter conditions.

.....und es hat im Gegensatz zu vorgestern alles bestens geklappt.
Den Zug im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ins rechte Licht gerückt, eine bessere Fotostelle, der Zug war pünktlich und schon war das Ergebnis aus meiner Sicht zufriedenstellend.
Hier, die 189 213 "Linked by Rail", die für die Locon im Einsatz ist, an der landschaftlich sehr schönen Stelle im Remstal, bei Lorch in Szene gesetzt.
