From up at Heron Lake.
When using the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone 5, I would choose the filters for lens, film and/or flash prior to shooting. The only format was square.
One of my favourite lens filters is called the Loftus, which at first came as part of a "Foodie Snappak." Supposedly it was named for David Loftus, a well known food photographer.
The lens creates a soft focus vignette around a sharper center.
I'm not much into shooting photos of food, but for quite awhile it was my go to choice when shooting with the Hipsta app.
Coming across this photo makes me want to revisit it.
Happy Bench Monday everyone.
East Harlsey won an incredibly tight game against Loftus to ease our relegation fears from division 1 of the Langbaurgh Cricket League. EHCC won on the last ball by 1 wicket.
NR18 leads NR25, NR73 and NR76 south through Loftus with a diverted 6BM4 superfreighter to Melbourne. NR18 had arrived into Sydney that morning with the Indian Pacific, and was placed onto 6BM4 for the run to Melbourne (likely for maintenence works to be done).
6BM4 had been diverted to run via the Illawarra line due to trackwork between Campbelltown and Glenfield.
I didn't have any opportunity to get my camera out for yesterday's match away against Loftus. All I could manage was this phone snap.
Loftus won a very close game by 2 wickets with 8 balls to spare.
It was a hot and humid day to play cricket, interspersed with threatening thunder clouds and cool sea mist.
