Ecco quindi uno dei "classici" del San Gottardo, il Winnerzug da Wuppertal per Piacenza iniziare l'ascesa verso Goeschenen al traino di un Re10/10 in luogo delle classiche TRAXX tedesche. (22/1/16)

I had hoped to get a shot of one of the two PRLX SD70M loaners NSM is using until two of their ACes are repaired. I wanted a shot for historical record, certainly not for its aesthetics.

Her wealthy cousin spent at least another hour in her boudoir when Aafje called on her at the appointed time to ask for a loan.

She was expected to wait in the salon of the chateau, stuffed with antiques, but the suspense of the situation finally drove her up the stairs.

She waited halfway in anticipation, realizing that without the loan her upstart internet company was doomed.

Little did she know that her cousin had lost her fortune in the crisis and was listlessly lingering in front of the mirror, unable to move.

took this photo in 2015 just outside @travelpaso it is a favorite of mine (I have a 20"×30" print of it on wood). One of the perks of photos is capturing a moment in time (freezing time) and being able to revisit it again and again. The photos can even illicit the same sense of awe or wonder that was felt in the moment . . .

Nothing is foolproof to a talented enough fool.

Historical thing has happened: a non-red, non-TfL bus on a TfL route. In regular service!! Except it doesn't have the blinds programmed n̶o̶r̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶O̶y̶s̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶i̶c̶k̶e̶t̶ ̶m̶a̶c̶h̶i̶n̶e̶.

Opted to go for this shot as it depicts stunned passengers learning that's their bus. I mean, it looks nothing London!!

Metroline have reportedly been struggling with their loaned Solos so this was drafted in. But heck, this is history in the making!

On loan to South Croydon Garage from Thornton Heath, Arriva London ADL Enviro200 ENX17 (LJ12BYC) passes Brighton Road, Purley on route 166.

The ENX’s rarely stray onto other Thornton Heath routes apart from the 289, so seeing one of these coming on loan to TC was a surprise!
