A few days ago, I experimented with light painting. Tonight, I ventured out with my buddy, Mike, and try out a few new ideas.
In addition to the light on my iPhone, I picked up a couple of battery powered glowsticks of red and blue. Mike also loaned me a minimag light, a head light, and brought one of his camera flash.
We walked over to our old neighborhood in the SODO district across from Safeco field and found a fairly dark loading dock to setup shop.
Several shots were taken. I'll be posting those shortly after I finish up here.
This particular shot, was a combination of things that happened during the earlier shots. I had this image in my head of a hand reaching out from the concrete and grabbing Mike. And, I was curious about what would happen if he popped the camera flash just as I finished drawing out the hand. The result was pretty damn funny.

Can't see them but there are a couple people inside that door. Just took clothes or whatever that were left on the platform.
Bower Rodgers home is a place for unwed mothers- to- be and this is their resale store. Does a good business in this neighborhood, especially since Goodwill here is no longer handling clothing.
