In the past few weeks two things have happened on Flickr that I never thought would be possible for a simple person like me....
On the one hand, I was amazed to see that over 2000 people have subscribed to my stream since I opened it without much self-confidence. On the other hand, my first picture reached the 500 favorites.
I would never have thought that so many people in this community, from all corners of the world, could have a piece of joy and fun in what I do. Even if I rarely reveal anything about my private life, much hope, talent or effort has never been invested in me.
To say it loud and clear..THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!
Honestly folks it's totally crazy. It is impossible to put into words what I feel with every little comment, small message or even just a heart or like that you have for me.
But at least I want to try to let you guys know how incredibly happy you have made a single person over the past year. I owe many of you light that lured me out of dark corners. I owe you that I could be proud of myself even if the nicest feeling is when I can make you proud. You pushed me, encouraged me to move on, push my limits and try things out. Thanks to you I know today that I am worth something that I can do something if I only work hard enough on it.
Believe me when I tell you that I remember every name ... no lie. This is because you have all given me so much since I walked this path and I want to express my deepest thanks to you. I am still completely over the moon when someone sees me or recognizes me in SL and sends me an IM. It's incredible and hard to believe, but every time I sit here with a big grin.
I got to know a lot of fantastic people and I would also like to thank them. With those who still believe in me, who offer me opportunities to prove myself or simply show me that there exists and is important. 💚
It would be impossible to tag everyone here without hating me, but I hope you all know how important you are to me!!!!
