Cychwynnwyd ar yr adeilad yn 1839, ac ’roedd M. D. Williams, o Gwmgynfelin, adeiladwr yr eglwys, yn frawd i Isaac Williams, a oedd yn fardd ac yn Dractariad. Defnyddiodd Williams bensaer o'r enw H. J. Underwood, sef y gŵr yr oedd Newman wedi ei benodi ar gyfer eglwys Littlemore, swydd Rhydychen. Defnyddiwyd arddull Gothig Cynnar Seisnig cywir, a chostiodd £3,000, swm eithriadol o fawr ar y pryd.
Bwriedid codi tŵr, ond am fod hynny'n rhy ddrud, trodd y ficer cyntaf at William Butterfield i gynllunio ffrynt gorllewinol newydd, a chyntedd deheuol, 1848-50. Dyna sydd amlycaf yn y llun hwn.

Cuireadh tús leis an séipéal seo sa bhliain 1839. Ba é M. D. Williams ó Cwmgynfelin an tógálaí. Bhí a dheartháir, Isaac Williams, ina fhile agus ina Thractarach. Bhain Williams úsáid as H. J. Underwood, an t-ailtire a cheap Newman don eaglais i Littlemore, i gContae Oxford . Baineadh úsáid bheacht as stíl Ghotach Luath-Shasanach, agus chosain an eaglais £3,000, méid an-mhór ag an am.

All Saints, Llangorwen
It is said that this church shows the architectural thinking of those who were at the heart of the Anglican revival in the 1830s, namely J. H. Newman and the Oxford Tractarians. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_Movement The church was begun in 1839, and the builder was M. D. Williams of Cwmgynfelin, brother of Isaac Williams, a poet and Tractarian. Williams used H. J. Underwood, the architect Newman had appointed for the church at Littlemore, Oxfordshire. A correct Early English Gothic style was used, and the church cost £3,000, an extremely large amount at the time.
It had been intended to build a tower, but as that proved too expensive, the first vicar turned to William Butterfield to design a new west front and south porch , 1848-50 . That dominates in this picture .
This is a photo of Dolbardarn Castle which is situated in Llanberis in beautiful North Wales, UK. The castle looks great when surrounded by trees when they have changed colour. The castle looks great from the surrounding mountain when the snow has fallen - I will be going there in the next couple of months for a different POV.

Bueno como ya os comenté la leyenda sobre los habitantes de Vilanova i la geltrú, aquí os la recuerdo.
Leyenda.
Tener la luna cerca de nuestras manos ha sido el sueño de los mortales.
Dice la leyenda que un Vilanoví se esforzaba para pescar la luna con un cesto, sueño imposible ya se le escapaba de entre los mimbresy provocaba la risa de los demás.
Desde entonces a los de Vilanova y la Geltrú nos dicen lunáticos, y yo como buena vilanovina que soy sigo intentando pescar la luna, esta vez con una caña y creo que ha habido suerte je je je.
Eglwys Bedr, Cadeirlan Leeds ▪️ Gwyddys bod eglwys ar y safle ers y VIIfed ganrif. Cwblhawyd yr adeilad sydd yno erbyn hyn yn 1841. Y pensaer oedd Robert Dennis Chantrell. ▪️ Mae'r darn canol yn y ffenestr hon, llun o Sant Pedr, o ddechrau'r XIXfed ganrif ac fe'i gwnaed gan y Brodyr Wright, Leeds. Cynlluniwyd y darn canol hwn gan C H Schwanfelder (1774 - 1837). Fe'i trosglwyddwyd i'r eglwys newydd yn 1841.
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ St Peter's Church, Leeds Minster▪️ A church is known to have been on this site since the VIIth century. The building that is there now was completed in 1841. The architect was Robert Dennis Chantrell. ▪️ The centre piece in this window, portraying Saint Peter, is from early in the XIXth century and was made by the Wright Brothers, Leeds. This centre piece was designed by C H Schwanfelder (1774 - 1837). It was transferred to the new church in 1841 / St Peter's, Leeds Minster.

De réir dealraimh, baineann cuid mhaith den fhoirgneamh atá le feiceáil anseo leis an 14ú C.
Rinneadh damáiste don chaisleán le linn Chogadh Cathartha Shasana agus ansin i 1647 vótáil an Pharliaimint i Londain an chosaint a bhí air a scriosadh.
Ag deireadh an 18ú haois thosaigh turasóirí cuairt a thabhairt ar an gcaisleán.

The Ruins of Abergavenny Castle
An earthwork castle was built here at Abergavenny in the 11th C.
It appears that much of the building seen here belongs to the 14th C.
It was damaged during the English Civil War and then in 1647 Parliamant voted to destroy its defences.
In the late 18th century it started to be frequented by tourists with an eye for the picturesque.

El Puente de las Siete Lunas se construyó a finales de los años 20 del siglo XX. Se encuentra fuera del núcleo urbano de Alcoy, saliendo por el barrio de Batoi en el barranco de las Siete Lunas, de ahí su nombre, sobre el río Polop, al pie del Parque Natural de la “Font Roja”. El puente se sustenta sobre 8 arcos de gran tamaño y se alza hasta los 46 metros de altura y 230 m. de longitud
Este majestuoso puente se construyó para la línea ferroviaria que debía unir Alcoy con Alicante, pero esta línea nunca llegó a funcionar.
Por su gran altura y el entorno natural en el que se encuentra, este puente suele ser usado para practicar puenting.

Un regalo nos esperaba en mitad de la ruta de los Molinos de Río Profundo. Villaviciosa. Espero no haber alterado mucho su tranquilo deambular. QDD con Clamiubolchevique y Lluna.
Cueva en la Iglesia San Salvador (Toledo) . Mezquita desde el S. IX. Conjunto Arqueológico. Conserva restos visigodos. Pilastra única visigoda.
