if we all just slowed down and turned off the tube, and allowed ourselves to return to our natural selfs, we would see that life is not to bad. We just need to unplug and watch the Sunset or Sunrise. Nature has the power to heal both the body and our spirit.
Any wild living creature is better off in the wild than hanging on our walls. The worlds wildlife has decreased by about 60% in the last 50 years and there is a good chance we will loose several of these species in the coming years unless we drastically change our habits.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Er... for those in the United States that is. Well even if you're not from the US Happy 4th to you too! Anyways, today is the day that we declared our independence from Great Britain. I watched this really cool special on youtube about the various aspects of this great holiday and learned a few things. It's pretty cool. I'll link you to it at the end.
So for all you Americans out there, live free because that's what we fought for all those years ago. Salute a veteran, hug your family, remember and reflect on the sacrifices made to protect our freedom. Be independent. Enjoy your day and don't forget to 'splode something =P

We photographers over lunchtime have no reason to put the camera down. I was facing the side of this street in a mall and people appeared walking - side by side. My luck! This was too good to miss specially the expression on the gentleman’s face, his body language and the distance between him and the estranged arm of the other person - all this drama of the untold - unfolding right in front of a signage that read - live freely! Thankfully I had my camera

Waves caught breaking simultaneous off a cliff wall.
As a surf photographer I look for patterns in the ocean. Here I was waiting for a swell that supposed to arrive before dark, but started to fill in after the sun set. No worries because this motion blur worked out perfect! Hiking for a good hour to find a spot high up a hill to find the view I wanted. Happy with the result.
