Crazy Tuesday theme Silver
I struggled to find inspiration for this weeks theme and running out of time. Luckily inspiration came during a hospital appointment today although still struggling for time - we got our 2nd jabs this afternoon.
My idea was to find silver and other coloured cake decorations and have them look like they were being painted silver with nail varnish. It didn't quite come out how I wanted but I think it still works.

A shot from my archives, that I never got round to hdr processing. This at the very last of light slipping down behind the hills.
The colors and reflections gave the water a liquid silver kinda look. The mist hanging on the water also gave this a surreal feeling as well. What do you think.
Sorry my flickr friends, I have been terribly busy, and with Sparky still in her cast, I have had trouble finding the time to even sleep lately. Also we have had non stop visits, and have got no stop visitors coming for the next 6 weeks. So I will be off and on, when I can, seeing all of your lovely work!
It will be better in about a month when Sparky gets her cast off!

These two shots were taken at almost the same time and show how quickly the morning light was changing.
Darling, brilliant is the light that has carried you back to the surface. These waters are silver and the shore is gilded in gold.
There are moments when you are the light in a darkened place, and others when lights encompasses and dances around you.

Water has many textures. This waterfall exudes an interesting fresh quality and texture, almost metallic.

NOT that I am slightly obsessive about waterfalls, but I am very, very fond of them.
In our last home we had a 33ft waterfall and lily pond at the side of the house and in the front garden we had another waterfall and pond.
AND to top it off the architect had constructed a huge fish pond that came half way into the house and the rest went into the front garden.
So, I see waterfalls and wish I had mine to potter around in!
Been trying out some new twiddling techniques which I love but very different from what I usually do.

Probably THE most uninteresting photo I have ever posted but it brought a smile to my face.

Day 78 of 365+1 - Theme for the day: Silver
Method: Curved white Depron backdrop, SB900 cam left fired into backdrop at 1/25th slaved from pop up at min power pointing cam right for a bit of balance only. Black card below glass, black flag between the glass and the SB900 so only bounced light from behind is returned but gives a slight grad. Home made macro tubes.
