Construit au début du XIII ème siècle, classé Monument historique, il est le seul cloître subsistant en Bas-Limousin. Remarquable de part la pureté de ses arcades gothiques, il abrite une très belle salle capitulaire recouverte de peintures murales datant du XV ème siècle.

Η κατεξοχήν κρεοπαραγωγός φυλή αγελάδων "Limousin" κατάγεται από την ομώνυμη περιοχή της Γαλλίας. Πρόκειται για ζώα με κόκκινο τρίχωμα που φημίζονται για την μυϊκή τους διάπλαση, την γρήγορη πάχυνση και το πιό άπαχο κρέας της κατηγορίας ώστε έχουν αποτελέσει σημείο αναφοράς στην σύγχρονη αγορά. "Limousin" is a meat-producing breed of cattle originating from the region of France. These red-coated animals are renowned for their muscular build, rapid fattening and the leanest meat in the category, making them a benchmark in the modern market. Η ευτυχής φωτογραφική συγκυρία προέκυψε κατά την επιστροφή από άλλον κύριο φωτογραφικό προορισμό όταν διακρίναμε λίγο βαθύτερα από την κύρια οδική αρτηρία την μικρή φάρμα με τα πανέμορφα , άκρως "συνεργάσιμα" ζώα μπροστά από δύο παραδοσιακές πέτρινες αγροικίες στο χωριό Καππάς του Νομού Καρδίτσας. The fortunate photographic opportunity arose on the way back from another main photographic destination when we spotted a small farm with beautiful, highly "cooperative" animals, a little further from the main road, in front of two traditional stone farmhouses in the village of Kappas in the prefecture of Karditsa. Ο πλουσιοπάροχα στολισμένος ουρανός και ο θερμός,χαμηλός,πλάγιος φωτισμός του δειλινού συνέβαλαν τα μέγιστα στην απόλαυση αυτής της προσδόκητης φωτογραφικής εμπειρίας. The richly decorated sky and the warm, low, oblique lighting of the evening contributed greatly to the enjoyment of this anticipated photographic experience.
