A los pies del mítico Moncayo y atravesada por el río Queilés, la villa de Ágreda se ubica en el extremo nororiental de la provincia de Soria, a aproximadamente medio centenar de kilómetros de la capital y muy cerca de los límites geográficos riojanos, navarros y aragoneses.
Por su situación, tanto en lo histórico como en lo cultural, Ágreda ha sido siempre una población de marcada personalidad fronteriza, habiendo sido definida por el universal poeta soriano de adopción Antonio Machado como "barbacana hacia Aragón en tierra castellana". Ágreda es también conocida como la Villa de las Tres Culturas ya que,acogió durante buena parte de la Edad Media a población cristiana, judía y morisca en más o menos armónica convivencia en función de los avatares históricos del momento.

Se ubica en el límite con la provincia de Mendoza, sobre los faldeos occidentales de las sierras del Tontal en el sur del departamento de Calingasta, extremo sur oeste de la provincia de San Juan. Tiene una superficie de 89.706 ha 7.793 km2. Se encuentra atravesado por un tramo de 20 km del trazado de la RN 149 que une Barreal con Uspallata.
En su extensión conserva muestras representativas de especies vegetales, preserva el hábitat de especies animales amenazadas, protege sitios históricos y yacimientos de importancia paleontológica y arqueológica. Allí existía un valle el cual le dio el color blanco que lo caracteriza. Dentro del PN pueden distinguirse diferentes paisajes, desde el valle a la pre cordillera. En su interior funcionan los observatorios Felix Aguilar, y el Complejo Astronómico El Leoncito, este último es uno de los más importantes del país. Como dato curioso comentamos que por una zona del PN pasaba el Camino del Inca.
LUGARES A VISITAR:
-CASCADA EL RINCÓN: Salto de 5 m de las aguas del arroyo El Leoncito. Se llega andando o en coche.
-SENDERO PAISAJES DE AGUA: Caminata de 2 km, de baja dificultad, con carteles informativos sobre la importancia del agua en la vida de la región.
-MIRADORES DIDACTICOS: De fácil acceso, uno de ellos se ubica cerca del antiguo manzanar, otro de ellos en el camino al observatorio Felix Aguilar. Mediante carteles con contenidos sencillos y amenos, cuentan al visitante las principales particularidades del área protegida.

Ormai il classico posto di Frauenberg an der Enns lo identifichiamo grazie a loro ed è grazie alla severa guardia con cui i temibili pennuti limitano l'accesso al loro campo che non ci siamo spinti oltre per fotografare il transito di un Rock Tainer in direzione di Eisenerz.

You might notice the "grain" (noise) where I extracted as much shadow detail as I could from a single RAW file (and forgot to turn down the ISO after astro shots the night before). Vous constaterez que je ne suis pas PRO et que ma photo est placée dans plus de 100 groupes. Comment est-ce possible?
La limite de 30 ou 60 groupes pour une même photo a évolué, c'est maintenant à l'administrateur du groupe de décider d'accepter ou non des photos qui pourraient être placé dans 29 autres groupes pour les non pro et 59 pour les pro. Par défaut cette limite est active, l'administrateur doit l'invalider.
Comment savoir si un groupe a activé cette limite ou non? C'est écrit en bas de la page d'accueil du groupe.
Pour les groupes avec limite :
"This group will count toward the photo's limit (60 for Pro members, 30 for free members)"
Pour les groupes sans limite :
"This group doesn't care how many other groups a photo is in"

El canto del estornino negro es muy variado, hasta el punto que puede llegar a realizar imitaciones de otras aves. En España se trata de una especie ubicua y muy común, presente en una amplia variedad de hábitats. Está estrechamente relacionado con el estornino pinto, pero tiene una distribución mucho más limitada y no es migratorio

Built in 1854-1856 the Wheeling Suspension bridge is the oldest bridge of it's kind in the US. But, with a gross weight limit of 2,000 lbs and a requirement that vehicles travel less than 45mph and stay 50' apart it's not practical for today's traffic and has been closed to all vehicles since 2019.
Oscillation is a significant concern for this bridge and noting how close to the banks the piers are built I can understand this is a real issue.
For those inclined to research this bridge, it is interesting the note the battle between Wheeling, to have this bridge built and Pittsburgh, who was concerned about the impact of this bridge on river traffic.

…this Swiss Air flight was uniquely positioned right under a chemtrail which for once I thought was kind of useful for the shot. I notice many photographers find photos of aircraft boring, they never seem to attract the audience, however, one needs to experiment, get a bit daring and opposed to just an aircraft portrait so to speak, you have to use your imagination, the environment, the weather and get a bit more technical!
