At least during this pandemic I have at last taken a step into the creative world of photoshop - tentative steps but enjoying it especially since i have had PS languishing on my computer untouched for years!!

Lilly lost her brother Miles seven months ago. As you can see, she enjoys it a lot.
She was always very shy, meanwhile she is very cuddly : ))
While waiting for a pizza at Satara rest camp I notice this Lilly with the beautiful butterfly and all the little seeds emerging from the ground. This was about three days after good rain.

Alongside the cicadas, the other harbingers of summer here, in the flora world, are Agapanthus and Lilly Pillys. In our little Close, six out of the eleven houses have agapanthus sprouting everywhere, just like hairs from an old man's ears! I think I'm getting FOMOβof the aggies, not the nose hairs!
The massive Lilly Pilly in our backyard starts flowering big time in summer, attracting thousands of bees. However, this year, despite it being in full bloom, there are no bees, which is a bit disconcerting. We all know how essential bees are to us, the tireless pollinators, supporting the growth of plants, crops, and ecosystems that sustain life on Earth. I hope they show up soon!
And if you're wondering what a Lilly Pilly is, Wikipedia advises that it is a summer-flowering, winter-fruiting evergreen tree, native to Australia and belonging to the myrtle family. This shot is just one of the tiny little flowers of which there are thousands.

Well I hope everyone in the UK has enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and all this glorious weather we are having. And to my international Flickr friends, hope you had a lovely weekend too :)
The garden is now starting to look like a spring garden and the Lilly of the Valley in the front garden is looking lush! Only planted a few bulbs about 5 years ago, but it clearly likes its positive as is thriving nicely :)

This BMW M235i has recently been fitted with a straight piped exhaust from TPG Tuning. The exhaust sounds sick and makes some incredible popping noises.
