An Impression of the metro station "Milbertshofen - U 2 - Munich - Germany
The lamps remind me of a light saber fight in an old Star Wars movie.

Purnululu NP turned out to be so much more than I was expecting. Well worth the detour down the bumpy 4WD track. This chasm reminded me of the famous Narrows hike in Zion with its towering walls. Thanks to advice from our helicopter pilot at @helispirit we got into the chasm at just the right time to catch the reflected morning light seeping out. While I don’t usually like plonking a human figure into a natural landscape it made the world of difference having someone
give this location some scale.
I haven't watched any "Star Wars" films in several years, but when I viewed the city at this vantage early one morning, I couldn't help but think how downtown Seattle's several, omnipresent cranes, brightly illuminated in so many colors, reminded me of the lightsabers from the movie series.
How many cranes can you count in this image? There are many more than meets the eye upon first glance.
This is one of the last images I captured at the close of 2017.

I don't know. I like it for the detail and might use them for future figures.
Let me know what you think
Adiós!

there are no rebels, no sith —
only the silent glow of a lightsaber piercing the torso of a man
who never asked for war but walks through shadow anyway.
Hey everyone! I'm back (finally) with a new minifig and today I'm showing my Resistance Rey from The Force Awakens!
Now right off the bat I want to apologize for my absence here in the past few weeks. I just took some time off doing this stuff and visited with friends and family while I was home. But I'm back the regularly scheduled program!
I personally LOVED The Force Awakens. Is it the best star wars movie? No, I think ESB is still a better overall movie, but this one is still better than anything the prequels gave us.
The idea to use cloth and the lightsaber were inspired by my bro Aaron (LegoMatic9). Thanks for giving me tips on how to sculpt the saber.
So yeah that's about it this time! I'll hopefully have more to show next week. See you guys next time!
Useful font for adding some authentic lego lettering to any project. A simple frame allows you to add one row of lettering at a time without the fear of total collapse that comes with most of my other lightsaber based MOCs. I built a spreadsheet to calculate how much space the lettering will take up but I'm still tweaking that. goo.gl/sbjtkF if you want to have a play around with it. Be warned though it's rather primitive and probably wrong at this stage!
A quick mini build i did whilst avoiding building R2-D2s rear
But I'm likely going to use it as part of the build. Perhaps launched from him? Return of the Jedi Style?
The trailer is out! There are Stormtroopers and new lightsabers and Millenium Falcons and TIE Fighters and X-Wings. *Excited*
Trying out my lightsaber effect I created in HitFilm
P.S
Vader is quite dusty in this pic, been on my shelf far too long. xD
