The Blues

On the way home Thanksgiving evening, we spotted this farmhouse, already lit up for the next holiday! The sunset and a tiny sliver of the moon made the scene seem very special, at least to me....

The dense tree canopy above the canal and along the lake edge makes for some beautiful light especially in the early hours. Black-crowned Night-heron stepping into the some light.

The lights at Hazelbrook Rural Fire Station are not nearly as good as they used to be so David decided to add to them. “Happy Birthday Jesus”. With Daylight Saving & Grandchildren who need to go to bed it’s hard to wait til the lights really 'shine'!
