Summer Solstice 2017

Völkerball is a New Deutsche Härte band based in Oberlarh near Bonn and performing exclusively Rammstein covers. The band lineup is René Anlauff (vocals), Tobias Kaiser and Björn Müller (guitars), Andreas Schanowski (keyboards), Tilmann Carbow (bass) and Dirk Oechsle (drums). Völkerball's music is basically Rammstein's music (the band bills itself as "a tribute to Rammstein") and the theatrics are a close match, so fans looking for a very similar experience on a smaller scale should give it a try. Völkerball maintains two websites, www.weichen-und-zunder.de and www.voelkerball.eu, as well Facebook, www.facebook.com/voelkerball, and Youtube presence, www.youtube.com/user/VOELKERVISION.

These photos were taken during Völkerball's performance at the Rhein in Flammen in Bonn, an annual festival of music and entertainment and fireworks display held in towns and cities along the river Rhein (in English Rhine).
