Playing with my food again on the lightbox. Shining light through the slices really shows it off in a different way. Are you looking at things differently? It makes life a little more intersting.
This is a true reflection done in the light box. As you can see I have lots to learn but I will work to perfect it
Have a fantastic Friday my friends!

Looks great in Lightbox.
Taken with my Sony SLT a65V with my Tamron SP AF60mm f/2 DI II LD (IF) 1:1 Macro Lens
Love the primary colors and the layers of circles showing through as I scattered tiny buttons on a lightbox. (This is only about 2" wide shot)
I'm very busy at the moment - apologies for my recent absence - will try and catch up soon :)
here's an iPhone Hipstamatic ICM pic - all processing done on my iPhone

Pentax Project 52 Week 5 - Car Streaks. 15 second exposure @ f/11. This shot was a happy accident since one of the few remaining parking spots happened to be at the top of a structure. Added bonus: way fewer passersby staring at me than when I was at ground level.
It was a bitter cold day today - the coldest on record for Ottawa. I bundled up warm and went for a quick walk at lunch looking for an interesting streetscape photo opp. As you can see, there are not a lot of people on the pedestrian mall - they were smart and stayed inside for lunch LOL.

Sealed air wrap over a fabric covered book, with some lovely white flash highlight patterns from the actual shape of he bubble wrap. Probably a bit busy, but the pick of my photos for this round as you have no idea what it is upon first glance.
Tail End Charlie - A member of the crew of a military aircraft who operates a gun from a compartment at the rear. 'The first commissioned rear-gunner in the RAF during the Second World War, he was nick-named "Tail End Charlie" by his crew and that name rapidly became adopted for all rear-gunners in the RAF.
This is a rear view of the Lancaster at East Kirkby's The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre .
Sitting on the apron, this is " Just Jane " , one of I believe only four Lancasters that can move under their own power these days . There are two that are licensed to fly ( one as part of The BBMF and one in Canada ) .
Just Jane is only licensed to taxi and does so often at it's home - The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby www.flickr.com/photos/149636765@N04/48051759407/in/datepo... in Lincolnshire . As a fundraiser for further work to be carried out and for eventually the Lancaster to become airworthy one can buy tickets to travel in the Lancaster as it taxis on the airfield - although quite expensive places are booked well in advance - such a trip is something very special indeed !!
Here is a link to the website and the story of Just Jane ---

A shot previously posted but slightly reworked and also prompted by a comment I made on one of Mick's brilliant series of deer .
Playing around with newly constructed lightbox - still working on the light placement, white balance, and general set up...
I had my second practice with shooting with my new lightbox. I played with light on the subject this time after getting some feedback on my last attempt. Not sure if the background should be pure white or kept soft coloured like the sand. Feedback on this one is welcomed too :-)

For the 52Project Macro group, on the subject of 'Water' - this is something I tried to do a couple of weeks ago for a 'Feathers' theme, but I couldn't get it to work then. I tried it again today, and I'm quite pleased with the result - a single drop of water, on a peacock feather - and some wonderful bokeh on the foreground portion...
this is a Hipstamatic iPhone photo from today's shoot organised by Alexandra Cameron (thanks Alex!)
