QUESTION: From whom, is time the unfolding of truth that already is, and the unveiling of beauty that is yet to be?

________

below are words of Albert Camus, French Philosopher, Born 11-07- 1913: 01-04-1960 Died www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/a/albert_camus.html

After all manner of professors have done their best for us, the place we are to get knowledge is in books. The true university of these days is a collection of books.

After all, every murderer when he kills runs the risk of the most dreadful of deaths, whereas those who kill him risk nothing except promotion.

"What have they done to the earth,

What have they done to our fair sister.

Ravaged and plundered and ripped her and bit her.

Stuck her with knives in the side of the dawn.

And tied her with fences and dragged her down."

When I was a little girl, I had my life plan mapped out in detail.

Inspired by Scooby Doo and the rest of the gang, my nights would be filled with mystery, as I fought crime with a vengence, creeping round the inside of gothic mansions, revealing ghosts, monsters and zombies. All the while looking totally hot in bell bottoms, cabled knee highs, platform shoes and snap-at-the-crotch body suits. I had decided that Daphne's scarf was not for me, but a long beaded necklace would do nicely.

My days would be busy with decorating my own large gothic mansion, overflowing with vintage dressers, upholstered high back chairs, chandeliers, candelabras and priceless urns. I, of course, would utilize my magic powers, gleaned from many episodes of Bewitched, to style my decorative pieces, paint my walls, and vacuum my precious oriental carpets.

Yes, my Mystery Machine would come in handy...driving me to and from the crime scene, as well as bringing home my latest antiquarian find.

Ahhh, youth....

Just saying hello.

I had a really lovely evening with friends and am just feeling relaxed tonight.

Tomorrow I will wake up, have some coffee & bring Starla over to my place.

Then I shall get down to business... and finish applying for this program over in Vancouver!!!

Costuming for Stage and Screen Certificate and if I do end up going to Van for that, I will then most likely take the Costuming for Stage and Screen diploma program after the certification.

I do want to see what other similiar programs are out there, maybe Toronto? But ultimately what matters most is obviously how good the program is and I've heard this is one of the best in Canada? But tomorrow I plan on researching my lil butt off, and see if I find anything else...

But yeah, this is my plan, and fuck, does it ever feel so right. Scary [me back in school?! oh shit!!!!!!!!!!], but really good.

"Homework"

I've been working on a "whole-body health jumpstart" plan for my chiropractor, which I refuse to label a detox - instead its a 4 week plan to "reset" the body's natural performance to allow it to return to a state of balance on it's own. Fascinating stuff... and NO starving!

My list is not in order of importance…

1.Finish the last section of the bird sanctuary on the side of my house;

2.Create my blog. I am anxious to have it done, because I am a writer and love to write, but dread setting it up…EEK;

3.Begin classes to learn to read, write, and speak Greek and Latin (I know Latin is a dead language.) so that I can study ancient texts;

4.Start my Chinese Brush painting classes;

5.Keep working on my flaw of lack of patience. I have improved greatly, but still am not satisfied with my progress;

6.Get more sleep;

7.Remodel(major), redecorate, and reorganize my enchanted art room;

8.I am long overdue for a day at the spa with my sister….Make it a regular part of my life again;

9.Rebuild our “underground railroad network” to rescue kitties/cats who have been lost, abandoned, thrown away, strays, and etc. and find them good, happy, loving homes;

10.Try my hand at doll or spirit doll making;

11.Go through all my collections and decide what I keep and what goes (EEK!);

12.Build a worm box and raise worms for my yard and garden. To date, I think I have perhaps one or two worms in my grass/yard. This part of the state lacks worms;

13.Continue my study and personal application of Shamanism;

14.Take a wood building class so I can build my own dollhouses, cottages, room boxes, and the like;

15.Once the built in bookcase are built and installed, finally, reorganize all my books as I had them before we moved; and

16.Catch up on ALL my emails everywhere.

“Ester asked why people are sad.

"That’s simple," says the old man. "They are the prisoners of their personal history. Everyone believes that the main aim in life is to follow a plan. They never ask if that plan is theirs or if it was created by another person. They accumulate experiences, memories, things, other people's ideas, and it is more than they can possibly cope with. And that is why they forget their dreams.”
