Got my new bike today! yay! A Haro V2...it's a pretty cool bike and it cost me a bit, but it's part two of my life changes. Part one, is quitting smoking.
Expect to see more pictures around bike trails and along the rivers here in and around Pueblo this summer. :^)
It's hard to believe it's been 30 years. On September 15, 1989, Theresa and I made the bold decision to leave our life in San Luis Obispo to start a new life in Phoenix. Good-paying jobs and affordable homes were (and still are) in scarce supply there. Phoenix is not perfect, but it is still a land of opportunity—something nearly non-existent in much of the once-Golden State. Theresa's parents and brother, Steven, helped with our move. Sadly, her mother is no longer with us, having passed not quite a year ago.
