I just love this picture because it represents so well the richness of the Atlantic Rain Forest in a single branch... The marvelous Red-necked Tanager (female), the liquens, the fern, all so full of life... Unfortunately there is less than 5% of the original Atlantic Rain Forest and it is always under threat for numerous reasons. We must protect this delicate and fragile environment.
Have a nice Friday!
Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!

“If there is meaning in life at all, then there must be meaning in suffering.”

“Life has no meaning. Each of us has meaning and we bring it to life. It is a waste to be asking the question when you are the answer.”

CIRCLES OF LIFE
Everything
Turns,
Rotates,
Spins,
Circles,
Loops,
Pulsates,
Resonates,
And
Repeats.
Circles
Of life,
Born from
Pulses
Of light,
Vibrate
To
Breathe,
While
Spiraling
Outwards
For
Infinity
Through
The lens
Of time,
And into
A sea
Of stars
And
Lucid
Dreams.
Poem ― Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun

When floating through life, it's good to find a lifeline.
One Life" Challenge.
Look to the sky
Don't ever let it pass you by
You've got to live it while you can
We only get one life
Life is like a carousel; winding, uphill, downhill, you suffer, have fun and love.
There is limited time in the carousel.
In life, sometimes, time is wasted as if the ride never ends.

For Macro Monday's "New" theme.
The front lawn here has been overrun by these tiny little native violets for near 10 years now. About twice a year I mow them, sadly, which I did recently. Quite fitting that at the start of a new year, a few of the violets having start to grow back - new life. This little fellow was about 5mm across. The meek shall inherit the lawn?
Happy new week out there, hope the post Christmas/New Year hangovers have all dissipated.
We saw a fantastic concert last night by Ian Felice, and this was one of the standout songs he performed, though they were all superb. It is a wonderful life, and it's important to make the most of it.
The "Ark Encounter" exhibits: located in Williamstown - KY, USA. This massive ship (life size) with 3 decks depicting Biblical account of Noah's Ark [Genesis 6-7]....... Currently we are facing Covid-19 Global Pandemic. In the same context, Jesus Christ is still the only Hope for all mankind, especially in painful time like these, and most importantly, Jesus Christ is the Refuge for all mankind from the wrath ("global disasters") to come....... Listen to John MacArthur explaining the Ark in great detail: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZfDyWyNjJU
The Giver of Life is still looking for many more lost souls to rescue. Once you personally know Christ as your Savior, you will never regret, and your life will never be the same! www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfewGwJFuD8
I traveled on Tonle Sap in a very “basic” boat, and was fortunate to find a local boatman, who was able to take me close to shore and “beach” the boat several times so I could see life there as it really was. The family living here supplemented their income by raising pigs seen center foreground. Some were kept in very small crates, others allowed to walk freely in the space between houses. Some of the crates were constructed so they would float tethered to the main home when the lake waters rose to the level of the houses. Because of the change in water levels as the water flows in and out of the Mekong, the houses on the lake are built on stilts to allow for the 8-9 meter rise in the water level during the rainy season.
As I sat and pondered my life one day, waves of sorrow and joy came my way.
Acknowledging each one that passed by, they would make me laugh, sing, or cry.
My life is very colorful, genuine, and true. My life is fulling in some ways; both old and new.
Each day is a gift on these waves. Each day I pursue what I crave.
May you all use this time given to reflect, grow, and invite beauty into your soul.
I hope you are all well and safe on these ever moving waters of life. I look forward to visiting your part of the pond.
Thank you for your support, favs and kind comments. They and you are appreciated.
