Detail of the Roman Sonnengott und Tierkreiszeichen Mosaik (Sun God and Zodiac Mosaic), mid-3rd century AD. This magnificent floor mosaic shows the sun god (Sol Invictus, the "Unconquered Sun") driving his chariot from east to west across the Firmament. Around him is a ring of zodiac signs, representing the cycle of the year. The containers and fish in the corners represent the water and the earth; together with the sky they embody the entire cosmos.
Around 270 AD, Emperor Aurelian raised the sun god (Sol Invictus, the "Unconquered Sun") to the highest state divinity. This mosaic dates from around the same time and was found in the center of the reception hall floor in a Roman villa in Münster-Sarmsheim. Of 278 mosaiced areas in the villa, this is the only one to use color and include figures.

Definitivamente o acabamento magnético não consegue entrar na minha lista de preferências... por mais que eu ache o efeito lindo, sempre tem ~algo que interfere na nossa sintonia (eu e o mag eheh).
O Libra (meu signo) tem um tom acinzentado de azul escuro que, depois de magnetizado, fica muito parecido com essa lavagem de jeans. A fórmula é bem densa e merecia um pincel mais fino, mas o pessoal da Hits achou melhor botar uma trincha, para fazer a gente sofrer na aplicação... o bicho vem tão gordo de esmalte, que é humanamente impossível aplicar uma camada mais fina, a sorte é que a pigmentação é boa e a cobertura fica ok com duas camadas.
Na mão esquerda usei a tampinha de um dos mags da Ludurana para magnetizar cada unha após a primeira camada, e na mão direita, o acessório nonsense que veio com o Libra, deitado e com um peso em cima, para não sair rolando (sim, pq a menos que vc seja o Stitch, fica difícil levar o pincel de volta para o vidro após aplicar o esmalte, pegar o treco e trazer rapidamente para magnetizar a unha antes que o esmalte seque, com uma mão só AND sem derrubar nada).
O efeito ficou totalmente diferente em cada mão, bem mais bonito na direita, em que o imã ficou posicionado na frente da unha (na esquerda o imã ficou embaixo da unha e eu achei o efeito ~oriveu), daí na segunda camada eu usei só o imã da Hits mesmo, para as duas mãos ficarem iguais. Não usei TC pq li em algum lugar que ele desmancha o efeito do imã (e eu não estava a fim de magnetizar cada unha de novo depois do TC), mas creio que o acabamento deve ficar muito mais bonito com ele.
O efeito fica mais evidenciado com iluminação direta (sol na foto principal e luz branca nos coments), mas na sombra (foto nos coments) também dá pra perceber o degradê, só que mais ~apagadinho. Gostei? sim. Amei? nop.

Uludag National Park is a nice and convenient location only 30 km south of my hometown Bursa, Turkey. The skies are dark enough, especially when looked away from the city, which is the southern halfof the sky. The mountain Uludag, where the park lies, rises more than 2500 meters above sea level, providing various types of good looking natural foregrounds.
In the evening of 6th July 2016, I was back at my favourite peak around here, Karatas Peak on summits ridge of Uludag NP, at 2539 meters of elevation. In view on the left handside are the only two peaks barely higher than my spot, Uludag Peak at 2543 m with its broken dome shape and Karatepe at 2541 m, which is closer to the center. Due south are the highlands averaging 1000 m elevation and the lights of many small villages.
I have a habit of calling the planets as Vacation Jupiter, Mars or Saturn when they have oppositions in Scorpius, Ophiuchus, Sagittarius and Capricornus. In 2016, both Saturn and Mars fit into my definition. At the time of photography, they were flanking Antares, with Saturn in Ophiuchus and Mars in Libra.
In addition to vacation planest Mars and Saturn, we also have a third planet Jupiter in the western sky, still in good view. So, I went for a wider pano, to cover everything in the southern half of the sky, including Jupiter. One interesting fact is, during the time of photography, all three planets have robotic spacecrafts in their orbits, as Juno had entered the orbit of Jupiter just 2 days prior. Saturn, of course, has Cassini in its orbit since 2004, while Mars has five: 2001 Mars Odyssey, Mars Express, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, MAVEN and Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan). And, this is the look at all these three planets seen from our rocky planet of night lights.
This wide angle panorama is a composite of 20 pictures I took with a Hutech modified Canon EOS 6D at ISO 3200 and 24 mm f/1.4 lens. 15 pictures of the sky were 20-second exposures with the lens at f/3.2, whereas the bottom 5 pictures showing the mountain foreground are 30-second exposures with the lens at f/3.5. Panorama processing with PtGui Pro, finalising with Adobe Photoshop.
