The College Park Aviation Museum is located adjacent to the College Park Airport. The College Park Airport is the world’s oldest continuously operating airport established in 1909 when Wilbur Wright came and trained military officers to fly the government’s first aeroplane. The airport is known as the “Field of Firsts” which includes the first female passenger, first machine gun tested on an airplane, and the first controlled helicopter flight.

This was a curious evening as it was a brilliant waning gibbous moon coupled with a rising fog resulting in some fun shots & patterns. You could visibly see the fog & energy being emitted moving upward from the ground exactly as displayed in these photos and condensing around the dog. Hopefully they do not use toxic or carcinogenic pesticides or herbicides which as you can see will simply dissipate back into the air one breathes. Soccer field next door.
