NTERRAs new wave of industrial grade rovers have arrived!
Introducing, B400 MEGA HAULER. No longer is there a need for multiple container trucks, its massive 38 x 44 stud cargo loading platform is built to transport bigger payloads through long distances. One of its unique qualities is its revolving mecanum wheels which allows multi-directional movement while keeping itself straight.
NTERRA, just one of the many industrial corporations of the lunar colony that operates on the moon. Its main functions are cargo transport and wreck salvage.
On the open roads of Mare Serenitatis, a heavily travelled route and a long journey. The destination, the ULC Imbrium Gate between the Apenninus and Caucasus mountains. These open roads are patrolled hourly but ambush attacks are still probable and it’s still 140 clicks to the gate.

* I have always wanted to try this type of mecanum wheel builds as it gives this very chunky and heavy feel that compliments large rovers. Plus the wheel build is really simple it just uses a 2x2 octagon and clips around to position the 2x2 round bricks. The drivers cabin had to be taller to contrast the flat and low feel of the rover and using flextubes and the 3x7 flag peice was just right. It’s been a while since my last massive project and this is kinda of a rebrand and restart of the NTERRA line, so here’s my first entry for Febrovery2023 with more on the way :)

[ High Mobility Salvage Rover ]
Designation: SPARKY
Specifications: High speed and manoeuvrability around rough terrain with large 107 x 44R tires and ample suspension for going over large humps and obstacles. It is built for carrying dangerous and valuable cargo on off road tracks. It is also used to recover and salvage crashed ships, satellites to trash that falls on to the moons surface which are not easily accessible. It's large size only needs 1 crew member to drive and complete tasks but can fit up to 4 pax.

* I am especially proud of this creation as It took me some time to figure out the curves and angles for this rover with only a single image for reference. I am so lucky to be able to experiment different building techniques and part usage to create this. There are more rover projects and concepts to try out can't wait :)

The WEGENER Mining Dump truck is the first in the line of state of the art machines for mining operations performing at even more efficiency and effectiveness. It is equipped with large 107 tires and a massive 38x30x16 bucket capable of carrying 3 times its weight. It is built to withstand harsh and extreme environments with extra safety features for operators.

This is one of my favourite builds the bucket came out perfectly with great angles and unfortunately some of the parts does not come in the existing colours. E.g: the front Technic panel does not come in white but it definitely should cus it looks stunning.
*This will be part of the red series of WEGENER Mining vehicles there will be even more massive machines on the way

WEGENER Mining - 48400 Excavator, a mammoth class mining rig for the biggest mining operations in the roughest environments. It features a 46x50x35 stud bucket built for piercing into rock and able to excavate large amounts of minerals. It is powered by a fusion reactor to power it for long operations with clean and non-toxic energy. The temperature is so cold that there is no issue of overheating hypothetically.

This is the biggest thing I have built so far and I LOVE it so much. For a month I have worked on this and it has been such a blast to build as I could explore different building styles and pieces to use. It is so big to unpack but I will try to go through each segment of the model.

At the solar farm, a maintenance crew comes to repair G-SOLAR array tower by replacing the array gyro engine. TRESTA trucks are useful in carrying equipment, components and cargo for essential utility operations to continue.

Its a bit controversial but I like to make custom minifigure accessories and tools that help give them more life. Plus they are all compatible with the official minifigure dimensions and shape.Secondly for showcase sake I intersect and collide parts for the minifigures clothing and gear for more realism. I guess just treat them like third party parts like brickarms. I want to make my creations have as much immersiveness as possible which is not possible with physical builds. With 3D I can really experiment with my creativity and imagination.
I thank yall for the support and lovely comments it really makes this all worth it. I'll continue to create even more immersive and bizzare creations for yall ;)

The under growth fauna is quite diverse as well with crimson vines fruiting bioluminescent bulbs and leafy roots which grow best in shaded areas. The scene shows a TRESTA crane truck driving through an under growth area guided by directory point 46 to the main dig site 20KM away.

TRESTA utilities provides standard base trucks for mining, construction, transport, delivery, escort etc. Its patented design uses modular equipment for any of the mentioned operations from cranes to drills. These will appear more in the upcoming projects
The vegetation build uses mostly flex tube, half boulder pieces for the floor and wall decoration. The leafy vines use climbing bar grip string, bar 1L clips and 1x1 round plate 3 leaf pieces. The thinner vines use primarily the power burst spiral bolt pieces with egg peices for the bulb.
Forgive the minifigures head being warped its the glass refraction I couldn't fix it in time :(
Im starting to like more landscape projects but it is very hard to achieve to results of a immersive landscape with just lego parts as it wont be so smooth. However I have seen so many builders make it possible but this is my style of digital art incorporating lego and 3d assets. I hope it can still achieve the same results. This is my entry build into Febrovery 2022 enjoy ; )

WEGENER Mining Dump truck is a unique dump truck with protective rails around the cockpit and large external vents to regulate operation temperature. The bucket is able to carry 30 tons of weight relatively.

* Finally getting to post this which was intended for febrovery but I was too late. This is kind of like an improvement on the drill rig I did for hibernia back in 2020.
* I think ya'll can tell that power miners are my favourite theme. However, I wanted to put my twist to it and also using the Lego city mining experts colour scheme. In the end, really satisfied with the way this turned out especially the drill, makes it look heavy and can pack a punch.

Specifications: Wheels are not only able to angle left/right but also outwards and inwards depending on the surface and terrain it faces. The body/cockpit is able to angle itself like a gimble keeping the cargo up straight and less likely to dislodge from its securing frame.

The B400 MEGA HAULER navigates the lunar surface with multiple surveillance cameras on each corner for 360 coverage, as well as a mapping optic camera on the front for charting a topographic map that feeds to the windscreen of the driving cabin. There is also an anchor hook winch on the front for salvage.
The hauler only needs a minimum crew of 2 to operate and armed escort at all times to safe guard cargo from any pirates or waste-landers on the open road

The B400 MEGA HAULER has second major feature on the back which is a ramp hidden in the cargo platform which can be extended as the platform tips at an angle. The haulers maximum load capacity is 300 tons as labelled. The secondary controls are at the right side with a lever. The left is a charging port for the hauler’s engine battery. Large tail lights are also needed especially in a foggy environment where visibility is obscure.

Specifications: The [Mekanik] pneumatic arm can dismantle and move heavy objects to help the salvage crew with recovering the precious cargo. A Solark beacon has fallen out of orbit and there is a valuable asset inside that needs to be salvaged. There is custom prints and art on the sides and nose of the cockpit for personalization. The rover kinda looks like a puppy or dog which inspired the bulldog art logo.

Its about an hour drive to the dig site, the journey is dangerous and the roads arduous. Luckily the drill rig is threaded with thick and wide tracks to make the long journey

The back took the largest proportion of time to make as I wanted to have contrast in the build where the casing is smooth and the back has the grebeling. I also wanted to add chemical canisters/containers hanging of the back to give it that industrial look. On the left the main structure kinda looks like a PC cus of the shape and ventilation hahaha but its intended :)

* After making the Carbide Driller I just thought of a use for the hero factory spike ball piece as a drill bit and it turned out amazing. Then the shape of the driller had to be like a star nosed mole just cus of the spike ball matches it's nose. For the canopy I do enjoy using flextube but this build was perfect for the power miners roll cage.
* I am also surprised with Stud.io's rendering engine. The crystal formation reflectiveness and clarity is pretty lifelike. I only had to do minor adjustments in photoshop.

Specifications: The entrance is a standard revolving door to enter the cockpit. The rover can attach accessories like the [Mekanik] pneumatic arm for precision disassembly and wreckage operations. A custom frame can be installed depending on the cargo the rover is carrying in this case the cargo it is delivering is Helium 3 canisters which distributed by [GENIX] - "Lunar Mining & Energy Distribution", the prominent lunar energy and fuel monopoly for export and fuelling the entire Lunar colony.

This tractor is one of my old build back in 2018. As you can see, it is a claw picker with a loader at the back and the main use of this tractor is for maintenance or trimming trees in the forest. The inspiration to build this tractor was taken from one of the German companies that manufacture tractors and machines, which is Fendt. Hence, this tractor has the characteristics of one of the Fendt tractors. It's merely an inspiration, I'm not copying any specific model of Fendt tractors.
The B400 MEGA HAULER on/off loads cargo via crane or the faster method where the cargo platform tips backwards at a 20 ° angle. The upper part of the cargo platform houses 3 winches with hooks for pulling or slowing the descent of cargo.
Though it can carry tons of cargo. The hauler needs help in offloading. These KOJI corp mechs can assist in the job.

* The end of the platform I gave it a scratched surface where the paint had been scraped off due to cargo moving up and down. The KOJI corp mechs I’ll post them later on.

A modified version of my RSO..sits a couple of plates shorter and less plates in general..this version also has a roof that can clip on and off in two places..and no its not DAK..tan colourings were used throughout the german military in most theatres of war..ive also updated the flak in a couple of areas..bit i like the most is using the BA M2 barrel and Gatling gun main piece for the actual cannon ; ) Edit by Todd aka "Florida Shoooter" thanks bud..looks much better ; )

The MOLE DRILLER can tip the drill 20° to reach higher crystals using a hydraulic piston. The drill uses a secondary V8 engine give power to the 4 ton drill spiked drill bit.

This tractor/truck is inspired by the vehicles commonly used in shipyards and harbours to move cargo containers.
I started building it after seeing LegoGuyTom’s yard tractor and wanted to create my own version (do check his out as well!).
Built at 6-stud-wide, true minifigure scale, it fits perfectly into any LEGO City layout or harbour-themed display. As an AFOL, I’ve used some advanced building techniques to make the model both stable and fun to build.
