Last October I took my youngest grandson to the LEGO Interactive Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. The children were allowed to build something to go under the tree and place it there.
Many thanks for your visits, kind comments and faves, very much appreciated.
Notoriously over-armed and under-powered, Blacktron's Wild Boars caused considerable havoc in the Despol Quarter. Despite being ridiculously slow, they were so well armoured that local security forces found themselves completely emptying their ordinance stocks into the Boars without it having the desired effect of stopping them.
(Been influenced by the recent "Space punk" style of the alien ships in SP3)
First build in my Iron Builder round against Dan Ko, using the large minifigure hands in bright green!
While I do like walking tank style mechs with heavy weaponry and thick boxy armor, I sometimes feel like there are many unexplored aesthetics within the mecha genre. I thought it would be fun to do a mech with more organic elements and no guns.
The harbor master usually sits in his chair by his house. Now and then he scans the horizon with his telescope. He has spotted an incoming ship and gets ready with his ship hook.
His daughter and assistant is trying to get rid of a rodent.

After debuting at Lego World Utrecht past week, here it is for all of you as well!
The entrance has been sitting on my desk over the past 2-3 years, but I finally turned it into the kind of castle I wanted to make.
It was fun playing around with the colours and balancing the pirates and cyberpunk elements into a good and balanced composition.
This one was really fun to work on and to see it come together, although I might have damaged my eyes again with all the neon yellow (And yes, most of it is not visible in the photo..)
anyway, it has been some time sinceI finished a build, but hopefully the next one will be here a bit quicker!
Enjoy my crazy brain again hihi
Love y'all

The Mobile Medical Unit is like a space ambulance/ER. Comes complete with two operating/recovery tables and all the supplies needed to stabilize patients before their extraction. Huge sensor array guides the MMU with uplink to the carrier vessel for increased guidance.
For the Iron Mecha challenge. Usually use natural light for these and being the shortest day of the year this week there has not been a lot. I also have a BL order with a few extra bits for this and a white one that must have been delayed by the ash cloud from Chile. So this will have to do!

M:Tron Speeder bike was one of the most popular vehicles to zip around.
Apparently I lack an M:Tron minifig, so I made one as best as I could.

3rd Regiment of the 253rd Legion
///Log Entry\\\
" As soon as we entered the outskirts of the battle for Dooku's fortress new orders came in, all squads in the 3rd regiment were to proceed north of the fortress and destroy several targets suspected of being droid factories. After rounding up the two remaining troopers in my squad, I repeated our new orders. As you can imagine they didn't bode well with Lucky or Rook, it was frustrating that we were being turned around and sent away from the fight each one of us wanted to spill Dooku's blood and let that hu'tuun drown in it. But orders are orders and to disobey them would be a betrayal to all of our brothers. After stocking up on explosives and shouldering our rifles we headed out. Finding our target wasn't very hard all we had to do was follow the fuel lines, soon we stumbled across the factories outer fuel storage. We swiftly disabled the two B1s who were standing guard then took up positions to ambush anyone who dared check out the disturbance but no once came. We worked fast planting charges on anything that looked important. When the job was done I ordered Lucky and Rook back covering them with my sniper rifle after they were out of sight I walked over to the destroyed B1s and collected their fingers. Then I left running through the heaps of scrap metal until I met up with Lucky and Rook turning I pulled out the detonator and watched the fireworks begin, this one is for Castle... "
This pic really doesn't do the build justice, it has to be one of my favorites and best builds to date.
As always comments are appreciated, thanks for viewing and have a great day!
So I built an M113. On the surface it might seem like a pretty simple build, but its not really. The front slope was a massive headache to get right. Credit to Ekjohnson for the idea, I was fiddling around with just the one half size plate forever until I saw your awesome model and thought to add the plate, if that makes any sense, haha.
I added some numbers on the side because that seemed like the cool thing to do, I guess. All in all a relatively quick build so I might post a rebuild in the next couple days once I get the time to really refine it. Until then, enjoy! And thanks for checking it out.
PS, check out my YouTube page. Just search 'Carpet Lego' on YouTube.
I did the Lego thing...because it's January...
Please ignore the ludicrously stubby arms.
I have a few things from my backlog to post as well as some more drone-y goodness coming soon, so keep an eye out!
Enjoy!
Just a couple figbarfs that I made with some of my favorite eclipsegrafx, brickarms, and minifigcat parts! Like I said, I can't post any creations because I'm moving, but plenty of figs to come!
I recently read William Gibson's Virtual Light and tried to make one of the futuristic, lightweight bicycles that are described in the novel. It didn't really work out, so I just made some Akira-type motorcycles instead.
"Sorry I'm late, I was saving the world. You know how it is."
I really wanted to make my own Ant-Man figure and knowing how good the movie was it was a joy to make this figure. And I also did want to try and do my best on an accurate Ant-Man helmet.
For the helmet it's LEGO's Ant-Man helmet and I used paper clips and glued them onto the helmet, there was also some green stuff I used on the front but the round part is from a sanded lever piece. I also have to say bending those paper clips was a bitch to do. For everything else, not really worth talking about to be honest it's basically all painted by me except for the parts that are obviously LEGO's official Ant-Man minifigure.
What do you think!?
I'm getting there. This needs a bit of a tidy up but I'm happy with the general shape.
Door idea from Project Azazel :D ( I tried so many different options for the doors, but ultimately this was the only one I could get to work like an official set might. Ideally I'd be using those double sided doors but they don't come in black as far as I'm aware.
In the Aquazone, the fight for control of the crystal mines doesn't always take place underwater. With the Aquanaut's NS2 and the Aquashark's DX5, the surface of the sea is just as fiercely contested.
These two speeders were created for the FBTB Themed Speeder Bike contest. These were designed for the Aquazone theme.
