So yeah, Photoshop Sky Replacement works well! This is not something I usually do, a composite! The original pic I quite liked but here it had a nice clean silhouette to blend with a sky shot. The foreground shot was 10 seconds at ISO3200, 28mm at f/1.4, shot in February 2021, the sky was shot in July 2020. This is not the Milky Way orientation at this site! The sky shot is stacked and tracked shots from a auto-guided EQ mount, 10 minute shots at ISO200, f/2.8 on a 40mm Sigma Art lens. Sky shot processed in APP and PS, blending in PS. I added a bit of colour in the lower sky to imitate the 'real' look. So, does this look good?

This was one of those sunrises I simply couldn't NOT stop to admire (and capture something naturally). Fortunately, I had my camera with me on my way to training, so was able to make a legit capture. I did pull some lights out of the foreground, but didn't touch the sky - it doesn't need it, and looks plenty fake on its own ;)
I always enjoy collaborating with people. Casual or formal, it doesn’t matter. It always gives me new perspective. In this case it helps me celebrate friends and photo work I admire.
If I’m going to continue collaborating with tall people I’m going to need a step stool or bigger heels.
