Sooooo I wasn't planning on uploading anything but just got lucky with the moon tonight so I thought why not.
The moon is one of my favourite subjects to shoot, I just love it! As for this photograph...this is legit what I saw outside my window tonight. It was sunset and the moon was out, giving off this radiant glow. There was such an ambiance and atmosphere surrounding the moon, I think I spent more time observing it with my own eyes rather than actually capturing it with my camera.
As for the strong purple colours, like I said this was taken during sunset and believe it or not the colours have been seriously reduced here...interestingly I wasn't able to capture much of the details of the moon as I have in previous pictures but I guess that's something to do with the moon itself (I'm not entirely sure but may be because of the glow it was giving off)
Anyways I hope you guys like it!

So basically, when I'm going through a tough time, or something crazy is happening, that's when I know who is truly my friend. After my photo yesterday a few of you messaged me, and that means SO much to me. It really let's me know that I'm not alone, and that someone understands what's up. I'm not just a crazy teen who has ridiculous mood swings. I go through some crazy shit, and often need to act much older than I am. I never really said it on here, but my cousin, two weeks younger than me is pregnant. She told me two weeks ago. She's 15. She's keeping it and raising it. It took every bit of my willpower not to hit her when she told me. She's 6 months pregnant, and I want to cry every time I think of how rough the rest of her life, and this child's life, is going to be. I'm the God mother. If something happens to my cousin, I'm responsibly for the religious upbringing of the child. I'm not even 16. I'm not even responsible for most of my own life yet. Yesterday, the love of my life, from my childhood right through my teen age years so far, told me something similar to what my cousin told me not even two weeks ago. This scares me, makes me wonder if I'll be able to keep on track. Someone mentioned yesterday that I don't have to post a picture everyday if I think it's a crap shot. YES, for myself, I need to. This project has become so much more than improving as a photographer. That, I feel I have done so far. I'm so much more of a photographer, as an artist that I could imagine. But this, this has become personal. I look back over the past 232 days and I've grown and changed, right before your eyes. Don't give up on me, please. The images may be poor quality, but I hope you see what I'm trying to get across. Right now, my heart is broken, I'm sick as a dog and I'm stressed to the max, but I still make sure every single day that I post a picture, great, good or bad. I'm going to follow through with this darn project, whether it kills me or not. But yeah, I love you guys - you have remained a constantly positive thing in my life. Theres too many of you to mention that have either put a smile on my face, or I just wish lived here in Aurora, because I want to hug you and be best friends with you forever.

I always enjoy collaborating with people. Casual or formal, it doesn’t matter. It always gives me new perspective. In this case it helps me celebrate friends and photo work I admire.
If I’m going to continue collaborating with tall people I’m going to need a step stool or bigger heels.
