The Squamish Nation receives revenue from the sale of advertising space on the billboard in a 30-year agreement with Astral Media Outdoor. After a detailed project analysis, GTEK determined that the Bri Curtain H20DC was the perfect product to meet all the demanding requirements on this project.
Each screen was 22 by 6 metres and featured a resolution of 300 x 1100 pixels. Hanging the screen in 6 metre vertical strips that allowed GTEK to achieve the gentle curve the client had requested.
Visibility during the day is no problem for this screen due to 8000 nits output which allowed for the screen to be seen for miles in the surrounding areas.
Using a semi-transparent screen was the only solution for this installation as the wind shear and installation weight were a big factor in this project.
The GTEK Bri Curtain has a unique cooling system allows the panel to stay cool under the toughest and hottest conditions. It uses relatively little power and is considered to be one of the most efficient screens in its class.
