As mentioned on a previous post I'm alternating spring/summer captures with autumn captures. This is a SPRING shot from last year.

After a heavy winter rain, I discovered this old, blown away Sweetgum leaf glowing like art glass on the ground. Truly, a marvel of the mundane!

Fractal trace

"Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;

Lengthen night and shorten day;

Every leaf speaks bliss to me

Fluttering from the autumn tree.

I shall smile when wreaths of snow

Blossom where the rose should grow;

I shall sing when night's decay

Ushers in a drearier day."

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

Leaves and shadows floating downstream, plus if you enlarge you will find a couple hitchhikers!

....based on today's snow in our area - I believe it may have already drowned!
