Hand made Bleu de Chauffe bags are always a pleasure for the eye. The light of the late afternoon sun emphasized the curves and the texture of the leather and I couldn't resist taking a quick snap.

The 5/2/22 Macro Mondays theme is Leather.
This is a leather pouch that I used to use years ago when shooting an old muzzle loader. It held mainly .50 caliber lead balls and percussion caps, which were often referred to as particulars.

A small 'ideas' notebook that I always have to hand. It has a leather case stamped with a maker's mark.
The case has a beaten copper panel on the front, and was hand-made by my metalsmith friend Laurie. It was an adventure into working with leather and metals together.
