York Pullman Bus Company Ltd Roe (H33/27RD) AEC Regent III LDN 96 (fleet number 67) outside one of the companies depots in York, I understand that over the years York Pullman owned three depots in York. Note behind the Regent is a Mk1 Ford Transit van and the cooling tower for York Power Station next to the River Foss which was opened in 1900 by York Corporation and supplied one third of the electricty for York, it closed in 1976. This would make the location of the bus depot as Navigation Road.
York Pullman still operate buses and coaches and are based in the village of Rufforth which is under the authority of the City of York.
