"Laura" werd in 1887 gebouwd door de locomotieffabriek Krauss & Comp. met het fabrieksnummer 1813 en is sinds 1887 in dienst op de lijn tussen Prien Bahnhof en Prien Hafen/Stock aan de Chiemsee. Waar zij tot op heden nog steeds dienst doet!
Laura behoord daarmee tot één van de oudste nog rijvaardige stoomlocs ter wereld!
Twee identieke machines met de fabrieksnummers 1814 en 1818 werden kort daarna aan de lokaalspoorweg Ravensburg-Weingarten geleverd.
In 1937 vond een grondige revisie plaats toen een nieuwe koperen vuurkist werd geplaatst. In de winter van 1957/1958 werd de locomotief voorzien van een vervangingsketel, waardoor het vermogen toenam van 60 tot 100 pk.
Tussen 2018 en 2021 werd de locomotief opgeknapt in het "Dampflokwerk" van Meiningen, onder meer voor de installatie van een nieuwe gelaste ketel.
Ter gelegenheid van het jubileum op de Selfkantbahn is deze unieke stoomloc hier nu te gast gedurende 3 weekends.
Tijdens het eerste weekend kon ik haar fotograferen bij Brigden terwijl zij onderweg was met een trein richting Schierwaldenrath.

Laura (stranger 97).
Laura walked with a bowed head, busy talking, a video call on her cell phone. I only saw her two buns sticking up, striking, a little strange face. It wasn't until she looked up that I noticed her hair was up. And that looks nice. Laura lives in Brussels and was in Rotterdam for a week. She thinks it's a beautiful city, lots to see and visit. Very different from Amsterdam, for example, here it is at least not terribly busy.

My stunning friend Laura with her twin sister at Mireia's cool Shoreditch roof top studio. It was one of the most fun shoots I had done, Laura really wanted feathers, so I somehow found a store with a cheap pillow and Mireia became my awesome feather throwing assistant :)
The girls were so brave and risked their lives climbing on the roof for the sake of art. life is good.
