TWO FLAMINGOS LEAVING THE POND .
THANKS MY FRIENDS ...
I NEED A LITTLE BIT TIME TO ANSWER TO YOU , FOR THE MOMENT .
The city and the valley in the distance...
Gramado, as some other cities in the mountains of the south, was colonized by German immigrants.
The architecture is similar, also the love and care with the flowers.
A charming city which shows the beauty of a culture so far from here...
This Roseate Spoonbill was going to get this nest ready for the babies, while working all day to finished !
Winter has shown up in our area now with temperatures below zero, frozen lakes and beautiful sunshine. Compared tor the last months with rain, clouds and shades of grey this is a significant improvement. Dear winter, we love you. But please do not stay too long and give way to spring. Hücker Moor, Ostwestfalen, Germany
I spotted this bathing blue tit in the Japanese Garden in Berlin-Marzahn one year ago. This year it was so cold already at the same time, that I had my centra heating on since early September...

Taken this late Summer early Fall I added a texture layer and was happy with the results. Sorry I know I'm posting a lot of pics right now but I have so many and just feel like I need to get some out there! But if you leave a comment I WILL visit you!! (I still can't figure out why on some images the EXIF data shows and some it doesn't I'm not trying to hide it.)
Late afternoon around Hücker Moor, one of my favorite places in Autumn.
Hücker Moor is a nice little lake in the Herford area (Northwest Germany). Peat was cut here more than a century ago and created this lovely landscape. Today the place is a great location for wildlife and worth a trip for the local folks in all seasons. Ostwestfalen, Germany

march is a tough month in wisconsin, as we get no signs of spring. but there are still brown flower husks in sunset light. and for now, that is enough.
Yesterday, was a very long day in the warehouse. Slowly but surely, we are clearing away 30 years of theatrical props, and costumes.
It was such a welcome relief to come home to some pretty tulips, and a window full of bright late day sunshine.
I enjoy color so much that the RGB levels in my digital paintbox get used regularly.
Last night, after looking at my yellow tulips from all angles and in all shades, I decided to go for this rich cabernet tone.
Not to improve upon God's work, mind you, because as a botanist, He rules. I just like experimenting.
I will dedicate this one to God, who has blessed me with sunshine and colors. With every beam of light, whether by sun, by moon, or by human, I feel His love. And His love comes in so many fascinating shades and colors. Amen.
