I must admit that this image is pure serendipity - a moment of magic with the last light of day illuminating a lone Monarda aka Bee Balm flower in the evening garden.

The sun sets over the mountains in Waterton Lakes National Park. This Park is located on the Alberta and BC border as well as the Canada and USA border. This is one of my favourite National Parks in Canada.

The last light of the afternoon catching a little hidden corner in the village. We often walk around the village and we discover new little bits of it each time, tucked away here and there. I like very much the shelf for the plants just below the upstairs window!
On a late walk, I caught the last light of November. Fresh snow on the mountains reminds me that winter is coming.

This is the last picture in the series of "Winter Patterns in Nature" taken at Stony Creek Metropark, Michigan in January.
It was exhilarating to be out once again on a crisp, (mostly) sunny day, looking closely for patterns in the sleeping woods. But then I realized I had walked three miles...a long way back : )
This crab apple tree is badly infected by insects and needs to be taken down. A photo to show her beauty in sunset before it leaves us.
