I purchased this little necklace charm while on a trip to Dominican Republic a few years ago. The rare blue pectolite stone, called Larimar, is unique and found only in the Dominican Republic. I thought it would be a fitting souvenir to buy and wear to remember the trip. There were many styles of Larimar jewellery to choose from but it didn't take me long to decide on this little charm shaped like a flip flop sandal, it seemed perfect since I was on a Caribbean vacation afterall. I haven't worn it in a long time but today while I was researching about it I found out that it is a healing stone to be worn by people who are stressed as it works to bring balance and harmony with your energies to achieve overall calm, relaxation and unity within oneself. Hey, that's me! If I had known this I would have never taken it off. 😂 Whether or not that is true, I think it is interesting...

Thought a couple of blue, stone (agate and larimar) pendants would make for a pretty pairing. Love the color blue and enjoy wearing both of these gems (yes, pun intended).

I’ve been playing a lot with exotic skins lately, mostly from Fallen Gods. I’ve been on the lookout for new and interesting outfits that not only look good with the skin, but perhaps more importantly, that enhance the appearance of the skin: combinations that make both the skin and the clothing better.
I stumbled across such an outfit at this month’s We Love Role Play — the Tengu Precious from Sasheba’s Closet!
Tengu comes with a hud with three colour scheme options (silver, gold, larimar), but is tintable. I added a little violet to the larimer, and got something that was just PURRRFECT for the Sidera skin from Fallen Gods.

Legend has it that the mermaids collected lost treasure at the bottom of the ocean, weaving beautiful jewelry from "paste & sea foam" ~ and that even now grottos of underwater treasure hold centuries of beautiful trinkets from lost cities and ancient shipwrecks. Once a mermaid grew tired of her collected jewels, she would swim close to shore and toss them into shallow tidepools, for surface people to discover, returning the "borrowed" bounty to it's rightful owner.
Our beautiful mermaid bracelet is constructed of fine vintage jewelry, retrofitted into a magnificent charm infused bracelet.

Built in 1935 this, the St. Catherine of Siena Chapel was built upon the Camp Saint Malo grounds. The chapel would gain even more fame in 1993 as it received Pope John Paul II. This capture was taken a bit after sunrise, in the company of a moose mother and her calf - the latter giving me a great deal of pause. The recently opened Tahosa Coffee shop, resides behind the chapel had many tasty offerings!

A Golden Hour vista of Colorado's beautiful big sky, prairie and mountains. Viewed from Eagle's Nest Rock Open Space near the village of Livermore, Colorado. Photographed January 14, 2017. And yes, this is a winter landscape. While the snowfall remains all winter in the Rocky Mountains, the snow comes and goes on the Colorado Front Range, where temperatures are quite variable, but usually warm-up enough to melt the snow.

Captured by mortals and forced to harvest their own kind and all precious gems, these majestic creatures slaved away. Pickaxes swinging and clanking down on the stone is all that could be heard. At these depths only her species were to survive. Ancient creatures that walked the world for years and years, whom allow their bodies to go into stasis and become crystalized in geodes as they reach the second evolutions in life. When the last geode of this mine was harvested she tried to hide it from the captors. As they cracked it open the female called to the others in a humming like noise and they all began to run from the mine, the female grabs the freshly released dragon and throws her in a nearby mine cart and shouts "hold on!" She pulls a button from her overalls and presses it and explosions start going off, everyone one runs out and she pushes the cart, when the finale detonation hurls them in the air and out of the mine in a blaze of glory.
