Everywhere in the small village around Monet's home were flower lined lanes. Everyone was into making this area a tribute to Monet and his gardens. The whole village is a garden.

This view of the trees is located on Ings Lane between Lastingham and Low Askew in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park
The field on the right visible through the hedge has just been planted as a woodland complete with seats (I suspect a private wood)

Dirty Lane, Borough Yards, London.
This is a new development that creates a lane through a series of railway arches built in the 1860’s to extend the railway over the Thames to Cannon St Station. The spaces between the arches have been filled with retail shops.
At number 6 you will find "Centrespace" an independent and sustainable community of artists and craftspeople offering both studio space, workshops, events and a gallery space for hire. The building was originally occupied by artists in the late 1970’s and has been running as a co-operative since 1987.
Leonard lane a medieval thoroughfare following the inner line of the City walls. The double yellow lines indicate that it still retains full highway status, although at the Corn Street end it is probably less than 1 metre wide.
With Autumn fading fast I figured I better post some of those images I still have remaining before our Thanksgiving holiday closes the season!

Fornalutx has been crowned the prettiest village of Mallorca more than one time. It has some beautiful stepped lanes lined with flowers and ochre-coloured stone houses.

37706 handles 1Z54 15.08 Carlisle - Chester "Dalesman" solo after 47245 was removed at Carnforth. We spent an uncomfortable 20 minutes here surrounded by a herd of inquisitive young cows and bulls getting way too close at times but we escaped traumatised but unharmed, they even followed us across the fields to the car.
