Lofoten is full of mystery land of Vikings. There is a very special moody atmosphere here.

This is a scene that I captured from a narrow, curvy road on a trip a few years ago. I had to be quick to snap the shutter as it was quite a dangerous road. The field of wild lupines are backed by huge pine trees. Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!

The Ilulissat icefjord in Greenland late evening.
It is all floating ice in the fjord, even the high 'mountain' in the background. When you would walk on it, it will probably turn upside down. Sometimes an iceberg breaks down creating a huge wave.
No trip to Cornwall is complete without visiting Land's End, it's a paid parking theme park as well as a natural attraction, being there on a holiday weekend didn't help, luckily I arrived early enough to take one daytime long exposure before the clouds covered the sky, and the human zoo covered everything else a few minutes later.

We were walking along with friends also keen to photography and someone had brought this crystal ball with him. I don't have one so given the chance, I got me a quick shot, just for fun! Turned out to be pretty cute! And... fun!
So... enter the Upside Down Land!!! :-)
Entering the Thousand Islands as we sail to Montreal for the Tall Ships Festival. On the brigantine Pathfinder out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Our trusty Toyota Land Cruiser took us all over the Sahara desert. Up and over sand dunes, through rock strewn hardpack and down some truly steep slopes leading to valleys and lakes.
