“Confederate veteran and capitalist Henry A. Landes (1844-1919) had this house built in 1887-88. Designed by prominent architects George E. Dickey of Houston and D. A. Helmich, the house reportedly provided refuge to some 200 people during the disastrous 1900 hurricane. John P. McDonough, owner of a dry docks and ironworks business, purchased the property in 1911. Acquired by the Dominican Sisters in 1954, it housed a fine arts center for a number of years. The eclectic Victorian structure features Romanesque style accents in its fine ornamental terra cotta, brick and ironwork, and its exuberant parapet and towers.”

Lofoten is full of mystery land of Vikings. There is a very special moody atmosphere here.
Here the beach of Ytresand in the the northern part of Moskenesøya Island.
One of the beaches in San Francisco. The waves were a decent size but the 10-stop ND filter dealt with them.
The Old City of Kotor is a well preserved urbanization typical of the middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th century. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor land on the UNESCO’s World Natural and Historical Heritage Site list.
Through the entire city the buildings are intersected by narrow streets and squares. Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (Sveti Tripun) is at the center of one of these squares, and it’s a monument of Roman culture and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

It’s ages since I blogged anything by !gO! and I have to apologise to them profusely! They just kind of slipped off my radar which is a shame which I love their quirky rustic fantasy designs. This is an outfit that came out last month and it’s just adorable, especially when I pair it with the second of the new Truth hairs that can be got at Uber. I’ve shown it along with its optional cap, thankfully not adorned with any Tr*mp-like message!

We were walking along with friends also keen to photography and someone had brought this crystal ball with him. I don't have one so given the chance, I got me a quick shot, just for fun! Turned out to be pretty cute! And... fun!
