Don't know how this idea came about. No sea here, and it's not a sea food shop either. Rather it's a home for the elderly. But it's a very nice lamp in my opinion.
It was one of those complete, random chance encounters, I was walking Bobby and happened upon this lamp left in the street. When I got home I grabbed my camera kit and headed back out, whilst getting mobbed by multiple mosquitoes I managed to get an LE, the light within it is from my mobile with the torch on. I recall the former owner of said lamp opening his window for a cigarette and curiously wondering what the hell I was doing with his former living room furniture.
It's made me consider this new collection, "Life Signs" whereabouts I happen upon rubbish, appliances, ornaments and things abandoned, I want to try and create something from it.
I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
Today the sun shone, following recent rainy days. Intense early morning light bursting into the room, casting shadows from the venetian blinds. The lines, diagonals and shapes and colour blocking seemed to present a photo opportunity in my eyes.
