Something different. An IKEA desk lamp with a little bit of postprocessing.
Archive find - I did that a couple years back while still living in in Shanghai.

It was one of those complete, random chance encounters, I was walking Bobby and happened upon this lamp left in the street. When I got home I grabbed my camera kit and headed back out, whilst getting mobbed by multiple mosquitoes I managed to get an LE, the light within it is from my mobile with the torch on. I recall the former owner of said lamp opening his window for a cigarette and curiously wondering what the hell I was doing with his former living room furniture.
It's made me consider this new collection, "Life Signs" whereabouts I happen upon rubbish, appliances, ornaments and things abandoned, I want to try and create something from it.

Today the sun shone,following recent rainy days. Intense early morning light bursting into the room,casting shadows from the venetian blinds.The lines, diagonals and shapes and colour blocking seemed to present a photo opportunity in my eyes.
Are you watching American idol??? I am hoping Adam wins..... :-) ( a little change from flowers..we had supper here last week..the best fish around!!!!)
Update: The best person never wins! Chris is a sweetie but Adam is beyond good!
I saw these lamps in a shop in Leicester and in the Soukh in Manama. I think that means I am destined to buy one...
I love the vibrant colour. For Crazy Tuesday - it’s already on Flickr but I am struggling to keep up.
