I never quite know what to expect on my early morning adventures. The scene may not be quite what I expect, or the sunrise may not be that spectacular. Then there is the wildlife I encounter, like this swan in the lower right corner of this photograph. As soon as I got close to the edge of the pier it came right over. I wanted the swan to just swim out to add some interest to this early morning scene at Windsor’s Lakeview Marina. Instead, it continued to stay at the edge just staring at me. Well it finally dawned on me, this beggar expected me to give it a morning snack.

The only downside to this peaceful slice of nature of course is the 97 highway running directly behind the property. Point of interest to all the mountain goat pictures you see on my photostream, the mountain directly on the left is their lakeview abode.
A lovely lake in Massachusetts. We loved walking around it. Well preserved natural elements. They respect nature.

The Chicago bound Empire Builder whisks along the River Sub at Lakeview, MN with Amtrak 154 leading the way on a gorgeous fall morning.

Wir waren hinterher komplett durchnässt, das Foto Equipment hat dem Regen (mit Pausen im Rucksack) aber gut standgehalten.
