People wonder why the seals have decided to overtake The Children's Pool in La Jolla, its a real head scratcher.

One of the motherless Peregrine Falcon fledglings still alive.

A follow-up shot to one a few back ("A little close"). This wave about got me the evening shooting at La Jolla back in August. I think I picked up the camera at the absolute last second before I got whacked by the wave. Hope everyone's having a great weekend. After nearly two months with no rain in my area, we're starting to finally get some much needed soaking rains for the next few days.

Thanks for looking!

Just outside the building where I work there's a large waterscape with some man made waterfalls. It's a refuge from the cubicles and offices to gather your thoughts, relieve some stress, and clear your mind. When you forget about the concrete jungle around you, it can be a pretty peaceful escape.

I wish I was back in La Jolla wandering the shores and quiet streets again. I can almost smell the ocean breeze.

In sort of hibernation mode now, going through the archives and I came across this one from my trip out to San Diego back in August 2016. I met up to shoot with Eric Gail and David Colombo...both super nice guys, at the Potholes in La Jolla. It's such a cool place to shoot. The tides weren't quite working in our favor, but having only visited that one time, I'm glad to see and get what I did. Have a great week everyone!

This male Peregrine Falcon is unfortunately the sole provider for four very hungry fledglings! Fingers crossed that they survive!

The Mormon Temple by my place. Doesn't it look kind of spooky? It's all lit up bright white in the evening.

Another shot captured during my afternoon in La Jolla with Steve Cirone. 400mm 5.6 on the 6D.

Ground squirrel at La Jolla

Rain all day and then the sun came out for a few hours. No haze, just a beautiful clear sky after a rain. I know, its not supposed to rain in San Diego. 5 image Stitched Panorama. D800 and 14-24mm f2.8.
