Il lago di Tovel è un lago alpino situato nella val di Tovel, sul territorio del comune di Ville d'Anaunia in Val di Non (Provincia di Trento), a un'altitudine di 1178 m s.l.m. e all'interno del Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta. La valle si insinua dall’abitato di Tuenno per 17 km tra il Monte Peller a ovest e il massiccio della Campa a est, fino all'imponente circo roccioso delle Dolomiti di Brenta che circoscrive l'alta valle, dove è situato il lago,

a lonely tree standing on the lakeside at Torbole (Lake Garda) that reminded me a little bit of the Lone Cypress atop the Pacifi Ocean near Carmel. The day was yet to start and sun came up over the moutains in the back. A lovely moment and just me with my camera at that spot
Lake Enol is a small highland lake in the Principality of Asturias, Spain. It is located in the Picos de Europa.
It is next to Lake Ercina and together, they form the group known as Lakes of Covadonga, inside the Picos de Europa National Park. Lake Enol is the larger of the two.
It was formed by the withdrawal of a front glacier.
A submerged image of the Virgin Mary is elevated every year on 8 September and then taken out for a procession.
Lago Misurina, also known as the "Pearl of the Dolomites" for its beauty, is the largest natural basin of Cadore.
As a jewel set among the UNESCO Dolomites, Lake Misurina stands at 1756 m. and is known not only for its charm, but also for the therapeutic properties it offers thanks to the particularly healthy microclimate.
A legend says that the lake was a gift from the fairy of Monte Cristallo to the daughter of King Sorapiss, Misurina, who insistently wanted a magic mirror. The mirror (water) was given to the girl, but on one condition: that the king became an imposing mountain, and so it explained the formation of the mountain range Sorapiss and the beautiful lake.
Around Lake Misurina we can see some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Sorapiss, Cadini and Cristallo.
It is the ideal place to make pleasant excursions in contact with nature, suitable for families and experienced hikers, but also to spend pleasant moments of relaxation.
