It was a nice change painting this café as most of the ones I’ve done so far are based in old tenement buildings. The interior space was designed by Do Architecture and they’ve made a beautiful use of the limited space with a sympathetic use of polished concrete contrasted with the pattern of wooden panels. The simple colour palette really makes small bright sections of colour like the posters and cobalt blue coffee cups really pop.
The finished illustrated paper cups. They're now available in Lab Espresso if you fancy some of my artwork as well as some of the best coffee available in Glasgow!
