As I'm booking tickets today for a British Sea Power gig in Bristol, the first track I came to of theirs was kW-h, which is a fine energy related title for the shortest day, and the start of winter. This shot of Witches Point grabbed in between waves is full of energy too.

My local woods in Epping Forest UK just before the rains came. The beech and oak trees are now preparing for winter and they provide my favourite autumn colours.
The wonderful thing about forest photography in spring is that the time of day doesn't seem to matter much - the leaves take over. Epping Forest in mid-afternoon.
