Hello, this is my new release for my girls!!!
Marketplace: marketplace.secondlife.com/p/KP-Athenea-Dress/11215455
An empty UP oil train blasts west through Strasburg, CO, headed for Denver on the former Kansas Pacific. First time seeing anything moving here ever. This train met an eastbound oil train, presumably loaded, at Limon, making for the first meet I've ever seen out here too.
Note Pacific Fruit Express NW2 1048, reportedly built as UP 1048 in 1946 before working for PFE in Tuscon. The unit has been parked here, with no connection to the main, for at least the past 11 years. It's lettered MCRX for Marcus Rail Transport, but stenciled for Royal Gorge Industries.
Part of my Daily in January 2023 collection.

On my way home from KC, I took US 24, which parallels the UP Kansas Sub, and just east of Grantville, I overtook this nice-looking rebuild on the point of a westbound oil train, and just HAD to shoot it.
With just one easy turn off of the highway, I was able to nab this shot of the OSJWU4 15 with the UP 6544 on the point. The 6544 was rebuilt into an ACM in mid-2023, but clearly, it's still looking quite good.
I headed out to Kangaroo Point to shoot sunrise on Friday morning. I have read in the last week that they are going to put a foot bridge across from Kangaroo Point to the CBD and I wanted to ensure I had an image which captured the current way this landscape exists before construction commences - surely it will change this scene forever!
I also have some 10-year expired 220 film which I bought second hand about 5 years ago which I haven't shot yet. I wanted to shoot a roll to see how good it is and whether it is worth using or not....so I also shot quite a few (read 7) film frames this particular morning - it is not developed yet!
